RttToEE is a very by the books dungeon crawl. Its very deadly, full of powerful monsters and NPCs, and has "phat lewt" by the truckload. It's story is nothing special. If you group can stand going through a single dungeon for months at a time, they might like it.

You can certainly hold as many wands as you want, hold a few dozen in your hands, cram a couple into your mouth, stick some between your toes, stuff a few your butt. You can still only use one of them per round though.
Generally speaking, unless your abilities are so low they prevent you from carrying gear or using spells, or they are so high you are getting +20 ability modifiers from them, abilities are not very important at high levels.
