I've played with a number of female gamers. They've run the gamit from "over compensating for the sterotype", to normal people, to sexed up horny bimbos, to girlfriend of the GM who's playing because she wants to be involved yet spends the whole time coloring and talking on the cell phone.

I've not seen a problem with male players being immature around female gamers.

Rokugan! Not the "D&D in kimonos" version in OA, the real version from AEG. While I think they original L5R system is better, the d20 Rokugan still has a lot of flavor and the whole thing is very well written and supported.

The only problem with familiars is that if you take a prestige class, those levels in the PrC won't give your familiar more abilities.

Uh, the sense of it is that there needs to be a mechanic that prevents encounters and effects from either being totally impossible or unable of failing. Thus, saves and attacks always have a 5% chance of always failing, and 5% chance of always succeeding. Its a game mechanic.

Assuming you are medium sized, you MUST use it as a two handed weapon, yet you still have a -2 penalty to hit due to the akward size of the weapon. It does remain a simple weapon, however.
