    My understanding is that you get +1 to one skill at level 2. That's the only option. Jack of all trades is a Feat you can take to gain a new skill. And at this time, the only way to get a new skill after character creation.

    Raise Monster attacks. Don't lower PC attacks. If PCs have lower attack bonuses they hit less and combats take longer. Better Attack Bonuses will move combat along and make combats scarier. I think +2 to all monsters sounds solid at this time.

    So Rogues automatically succeed at Hard Tasks they are skilled in, right? Skill Mastery (10) + Skill Mastery or Ability (+3 or more) + Skill (+3) = 16+ Is this correct? How do you feel about it? Would setting a Hard DC to 17 be better?
