Level Up (A5E) Multiple Maneuvers per turn

Ah, ok, I wasn't sure if it didn't just apply to the action. So, when you use an attack manuever, you're not taking the attack action, and applying the maneuver - you use your action to use the Maneuver, and then if it lets you take an attack, you do that with the limits.

Level Up (A5E) Multiple Maneuvers per turn

Hi all, Wondering if there are rules listed anywhere, but if they are - what are the limits on using multiple maneuvers per turn? Can you combine maneuvers on the same attack, as long as you have exertion points?

Level Up (A5E) Is Ranger ability Expert Foraging objectively better than Huntsman?

Ok, that feels like a rule as written vs intended. I would never presume that being able to determine somethings CR means you can tell whether or not it has a statblock at all.

Level Up (A5E) The Sadness that is Wilderness Lore (Ranger 12)

The thing about the ranger and the exploration pillar is that IF you have a ranger, it doesn't make the journey more exciting, it just makes them over quicker. Oddly enough, if you give a class a great specialty in exploration - a player that selects it often wants to do so to show off their...

Level Up (A5E) Is Ranger ability Expert Foraging objectively better than Huntsman?

Feels like Huntsman should give you advantage on Hunt and Gather and one other activity - that way its a trade off of being more flexible whilst the others are more focused.

Level Up (A5E) Unofficial Poll on Combat Traditions and Maneuvers

I'll be working on at least one new tradition "White Lotus" that I'm converting from my homebrew Warlord that I made about a year ago. Just need to adjust to the new exertion point system.

Level Up (A5E) Traditions Revisited: Sanguine Knot

Yeah, I think I need to add a couple maneuvers to Biting Zephyr to make my gunslinger fighter work. He needs a 'fan the hammer' manuever ;P

Level Up (A5E) Considerations when adding Maneuvers

Maybe. Depends right now if I can think of enough maneuvers that can all be grouped together.

Level Up (A5E) Considerations when adding Maneuvers

I think a lot of parallel thinking on this notion seemed to confirm it was the right call by A5E to add these features in. Now its just a measure of having enough options without power creep.

Level Up (A5E) Considerations when adding Maneuvers

So, the trained exploits were designed to be martial cantrips, and are ideal for basic maneuvers, which is what was leaning towards already. Also, "Guard's Watch" is a great tradition name, I will need to steal that for sure.

Level Up (A5E) Considerations when adding Maneuvers

So, this is what I had made PRIOR to finding A5E (as you might imagine, might be overbuilt), but I loved 4E, so I wanted to bring some stuff back. Granted, many are still melee focused, but there are still a number of options for ranged attacks too...

Level Up (A5E) Considerations when adding Maneuvers

This is the answer I wanted to hear :) Yep, that makes sense - but I think I got them all spread around a bit. I converted a lot of 4E powers into usable options for my 5E players.

Level Up (A5E) Considerations when adding Maneuvers

So, I recently discovered A5E, or more explicitly, was able to get it on Fantasy Grounds, and looking to convert my group to the system. I've beening running O5E with a lot of houserules and additions to get it to do what I want, and one of the things is I made a bunch of powers that worked...

    New Rituaaaals

so, 2 min is still 20 rounds of combat. The point of rituals is that they are NOT cast in combat. period.

    New Rituaaaals

Teleportation Catcher. Now DM's have a fun actual ritual for little NPC's to use to stop pesky eldarin. "I think I'll just teleport over the chasm to reach the McGuffin (teleports, get's flung back) What the hell?!...dammit, guess we do this the old fashioned way"

    Updated Magic Weapons P.E.A.C.H.

So, I was bored, and I had some good ideas for remaking some older magic weapons. I'll just give the properties and bonuses, and anyone who has suggestions for level and pricing can start the discussions Bane Weapon Attuned to hate those of certain origins Weapon: Any Enhancement: Attack...

    Epic Destiny: Draconic Avatar

Funny, I posted it on the WotC forums, and they so far had opinions of to powerful...hehe. Yeah, I thought it might be missing something. Hmm. Well, my first thing is that I don't want to have the destiny key off any single attribute, at least not yet. I want it to be viable for any class...

    Epic Destiny: Draconic Avatar

Hello there everyone. This is my first shot at making an epic destiny, and this one I have plans to introduce to at least one player in my up coming campaign. It's not quite finished yet, but I'd thought I'd post what I have so far for discussion. As a pre-empt, I am well aware of the discussion...

Converting Old Spells to New Rituals

I love them. A fine majority of these are nice, and grant much utility to all ritual casters. Granted, some exceptions have been noted. (Foresight, Curse, etc). But on the whole, a good start to adding new rituals. From what I can gather, the trick to balancing a ritual should be that...

Paragon Paths: Deepwood Sniper and Master Thrower

    1. Yes, I had thought about that. Because I hadn't playtested it yet, I had no way to guage the powers effectiveness. Actually, rather than more damage, I think I might add a slow effect to targets hit. 2. The problem with Tumbling Toss is that Shifting your speed at-will is too over...
