    Good offline CRPG for XP/Vista

Ugh, I didn't even know they made something that... underpowered. That's worse than most onboard cards.

    Guild Wars

Low level (starting) play is a bit different from the higher end play, but I have 5 characters I brought from starting to max, so I enjoyed the beginning a lot. Assassins are an aquired taste, and tend to work better in PvP than PvE

    Guild Wars

Find a good guild, often there's someone on who can help you out. (I run one if you're looking, it's small but has some active people, we have our own forums at http:\\guildwars.bront.org ) You get a primary and secondary class (the secondary comes a little later, after L5 in Nightfall), but...

    Good offline CRPG for XP/Vista

That's because they don't need to. There were only a few games that had consistent problems with dual core PCs, and those were fixed with patches. Even if you didn't patch it, you can solve it by setting the program to only use 1 CPU manually, so it isn't an issue.

Final Fantasy XII sucks. Period. Fact.

Interesting. Final Fantasy XII: Revanant Wings has been fairly enjoyable so far, and it features Vann and Penelo. FFVIII turned me off the series, well, that and not having a system that could play it anyway.

    The Incredible Hulk

This is not hard to do. The battles in Iron Man were very anti-climactic or short, other than possibly the initial one where he escapes.

[The Bards Tale] I, II, III - anyone play it?

The clue books were a great read, even without the game. They wrote them like someone telling the story, which was cool. I remember several versions had various bugs. The Amiga version of BT1 had a bug where ONLY warriors and monks got multiple attacks as they leveled up, so your paladins...

    Wii Friends

Or you could just direct them to CM... ;)

Cloak of Invisibility: Best item in the game?

That still specifically requires 2 feats in order to maximize the potential of the item. Also, such characters wouldn't be able to move far without making themselves potentially much easier to spot. Also, you are taking the planing of the GM out of the equation. Invisi-ranger is a one trick...

The Hive is ALIVE! It's not dead yet!

2 is the one I don't like. I think 3 was better than 1 though. Hoping to see 4 this weekend (which is a 6 day weekend in which I have to work 1 day in the middle)

    City of Heroes - opinions?

Were you looking for superheroes? Or just any MMO? I'm a big Guild Wars fan, but I won't derail your thread unless you ask :) I know a few CoH players, I'll see if I can't direct them here.

    I got a Wii!

Yeah, I got my Wii on release, and I don't use the SD card for anything yet. Lots of room. Now, if you download LOTS of Wiiware games, you can store them there instead of re downloading them, but you can't actually save anything directly there. You only interact with the onboard memory. You...

The Hive is ALIVE! It's not dead yet!

Weekend afternoons are good, or weekdays too. I'll often go for a matine with the wife, though we didn't have a kid to deal with back then.

    I got a Wii!

I have Ultimate Alliance, haven't played much of it yet, but it's fairly similar to X-Men Legends, so it can't be bad. The sports controls are generally sensitive, so what's likely happening is that you're jerking the controller too much to set up a swing. It may be simplistic, but that's part...

The Hive is ALIVE! It's not dead yet!

Asking someone to do something for free when they get paid to do the same (Particularly when they are on lunch from such activity) is asking an awful lot. particularly if you don't know them.

    I got a Wii!

Games I've liked (with links to full reviews of them if I have written them): Zelda: Twilight Princess - Good graphicaly, though a bit easy at times. It's a great use of controls, and makes things like the bow easy(er) to use in live combat. Mario Kart Wii - The Wii Wheel is good, but so are...

Who wants to be a Wayfinder?

It's amazing that this game started with 12, and is all the way down to 2. I miss Johan, but I just haven't had the time to do him justice, though things are getting a bit saner...
