Yup the Dungeon & Dragons Boardgame in German is quite nice, the minis are well done and you get lots of props to put on the table. There is even an extension out called Ewiger Winter (Eternal Winter). It's available on Amazon.de so if someone is really trying to get it, thats the place to go...

I dont plan at all. Since I am not the DM I do not know what lies in me path and how my destiny will turn out. The only thing I do is to think about an intelligent background story that somehow fits the PC's character and knowledge. But the rest is being written by the DM's quill as I go on.

I think they sit in their basements and write plots for new soap operas, telenovellas and reality shows to torture humanity. I mean, someone HAS to write that crap :mad:

I would say no, if there was not the Basic Set. I think that one is a very good entry point for people to start playing D&D. If there would be no Basic Set I'd say it would be much harder to get into the game. Having a rule book with 200+ pages plus an adventure and the MM is a tad too much...
