Hate is not something that should be brought in connection with something like a game. I would call it distaste or disapproval. But certainly not hate.

Well if I would be able to see those images I would be offended by them for sure. Overall Europeans are very sensitive to this kind of symbols of that certain time. So, thanks for the respect and thanks that you removed those pictures.

We just rolled new chars yesterday evening for a new 2e campaign that will start end of November. We do not use any additional rule books in 2e, just the PHB, DMG, MM and all campaign resources for Greyhawk (pre-war). That's about it. Playing 2e like that isnt too much of a difference to 1e I'd say.

Well there are only a handfull of fighting encounters, if at all, in the original ToH. But in the "Return to" version there were quite alot of fights put into before the party can actually access the original tomb.

My personal favorite would be I3:Pharao. But I doubt that would happen. But Keep on the Borderland would be a logical thing since its one of the most famous adventures from the golden days of D&D. Another cool adventure would be The Forgotten Temple of Tharzidun.

Add to this that dying from poisoned food is probably the most unheroic death one could imagine :D Your DM should have been bound, gagged and beaten with a large, fat, stinkin' trout, regardless the edition of D&D you've played there :]

DDA4 Dymrak Dread was the first module we played. The two of the high points in the module was when the Ranger attempted to pray to the sarcophagus because he thought it was a shrine to a nature deity (so much for rolling a 20 on his Wis check). The result was a drained level due to a ranger...

We send them and from time to time it saves one of us from missing the date :) But most of the time its just a good excuse to use the reminder email to start a mail flood for the rest of the afternoon :D
