Hmmm, it's hard to remember, I painted it years ago. Typically, if I'm painting fire, I use lighter oranges and yellows and ink them red. I only paint in red for the deepest (typically the lowest) parts of the fire. I hope that helps.

Sorcery & Steam is a great supplement in that vein. I think it's from FFG. It's specifically focused on incorporating steam into a D&D game. Have fun! :)

The map is definately secondary. I like to roleplay NPCs, and have no problems there, what would really help is a "big list" of locations, thier types (general store, armorer, etc..) and some NPC names of who runs them. Something I can glance down at, when the players ask "is there a...
