I felt that VRGtR had a good level of detail on a broad enough number of domains that it was useful and enjoyable for someone not already super-steeped in existing D&D lore. Entitled how? Last Bond I saw was Pierce Brosnan. Don't call people idiots when you don't actually know their motives. Their situation is almost always more complex than simple stupidity.

Forget the wealth thing. People do things for different reasons. Declaring someone an "idiot" for doing something you don't personally understand the why or whatfor it is presumptuous, in particular if they're not hurting anyone else.

That's solely matter of personal taste. Some people simply don't feel a compulsion to spend or show off their wealth. So be it. That doesn't make them "idiots".

I'll second this. It's a fantastic resource largely based on real-world folklore, iirc. Plus it's just a beautiful book, as well. The author has done/is doing a couple others in the same vein other different topics, for example one about minerals.

I'm not seeing that setting anymore, either. I definitely used to see it, as I had changed it from the default. The actual value hasn't changed, though; only the ability to change it. Other users have mentioned odd changes in their accounts since the last update, so sounds like it's the site...
