100% of the time at my house in our finished basement rec-room, on the 8x4 pool table with custom table cover. Seating is padded bar stools. The home theater in the other part of the rec-room provides the music, via the HTPC and remote.

When I read some time ago that George Takei was pitching the adventures of Captain Sulu on the Excelsior (i.e. around the Undiscovered Country timeframe), and that it was rejected, I was sad. And what did we get instead, IIRC? Voyager. Voyager. *sob*

It's pretty terrible, but I'm still finding it fun. But yeah - definitely a show that panders to male fantasies. It's about cars, boobs, and a dash of violence (found in every single episode). If you like those 3 things, you're good to go.

No kidding. What. The. Hell. was that? We couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. What was that whole sequence? And it was a damn, damn (damn) shame that Bennett didn't break Elle's neck after bashing her, and/or grab the gun and put a bullet in each of their heads. A wasted opportunity...

How? By who? What decree? If it does exist, it is by "The People", so you are indeed incorrect. Blame The People. (And, anyone who somehow suggests that this is a real difference between 3e and 4e is, quite simply, flat-out bonkers. AFAIC.)
