The Core Set is back in stock (although with limited quantities) in the EU store. I've decided to get a copy for myself :)

The description in the Encyclopedia Magica is the same as in the 2e DMG, except for the addition of an extra "Kara-Tur" table that adds the OA races and classes (even tough, for some reason, the races and classes are mixed).

Probably because bards are druid-like and thus "closer" to clerics. Elves and half-orcs can't normally be resurrected, I think that's the reason for the great cost for them.

Just a random aside. After reading this thread, I looked at the magical weapons table and I discovered that in the DMG there's no chance to roll a dagger +1, which must have been one of the more common magical weapons in modules! Since I bought Unearthed Arcana before the Dungeon Master Guide...

The only thing unclear (to me) on that combo is that the description of the gauntlets and the girdles might seem to imply that their bonus would stack for any magic hammer, while I'm pretty sure that they do only do for "Thor's hammer".

I see a price of €61.95 (so a bit more than $70) for a bundle of two books. What book do you see for $89?

The idea is fascinating, but (keeping in mind that I'm terrible at making predictions), I would expect a new Kara-Tur to be a relatively large endeavor, with many and varied authors and consultants with many different Asian backgrounds, so something like a full product and not a supplement.

I'm a bit confused. By watching the video, I thought that the 5e conversion was a new thing, but - looking at Paizo's site, it seems that the 5e version of Abomination Vaults actually came out last year (after many delays). So the new thing is the DDB version. Is this correct?

In the EU store for Darrington Press it was supposed to came back in stock at the end of July, but it never did and now it will come back "soon". Looks like they underestimated the demand quite a bit. P.S. I love that one of the "usual suspects" has a video about how the game is failing... :D
