Looking for magical way to gain weapon feats

In Eberron you can get weapons with elemental bindings that allow weapon finesse, specifially an air elemental. Maybe you could have your DM allow that. Tellerve

    Blind Swordsman?

Actually, you move at 3/4 movement with Blind-Fight feat instead of 1/2. And if you had a few levels of monk then that might not be so bad as you could get some bonus movement to offset it. Tellerve p.s. The Quick Reconnoiter feat from Complete Adventurer allows you to make free spot and...

    Does Nondection block See Invisibility?

I agree with Stalker, they should make a caster level check, if they fail then they don't see you with the spell, otherwise they do. Tellerve

D&D 3.x Give unto me your "Power Gamer's 3.5 Guide to Rogues"

In the game I dm I'm very similar to you Elder-Basilisk in making the environment interactive and alive. Much more cinematic. And speaking of skills in combat, someone posted in the 2nd or 3rd post of this thread on using Sleight of Hand in combat. I've never heard/read about how to do that...

k, so looks like my hunch was correct. Thanks Hypersmurf...nothing like a li'l of the ol' RTFM ;)

    uncanny dodge twice ?

If you have a rogue that has uncanny dodge and then they take Assassin and get to the level where the Assassin gets uncanny dodge, do you get Improved Uncanny Dodge instead? I believe you do, but the wording in the Assassin writeup says if you gain it from another class, which to me means in...

D&D 3.x Give unto me your "Power Gamer's 3.5 Guide to Rogues"

I don't have the book, but I'd guess the +4 to hide is from being small. On another note to the above examples of moving up on creatures. The Complete Adventurer mentions in their skill section some more options with the Hide skill. Examples of Tailing someone as well as moving from cover to...

    Rogue PrC help

I have a character I'm designing, a goblin rogue, that I was thinking of going into the Assassin PrC. However, I'm not completely sold on it, and have thoughts of the Dread Commando, Skullclan Hunter, or other beefy rogue PrCs. Granted all of this could become moot as he might not live long...

D&D 3.x Give unto me your "Power Gamer's 3.5 Guide to Rogues"

Ya know, I've been looking for the mechanic to do the slight of hand during combat. I've seen it done in several movies. Would the opponent get any bonus versus you, or do you have to hide and sneak up to use Sleight of Hand. Otherwise isn't it more of a disarm tactic? Tellerve

    Question about Snatch Feat

So, wait, Shilsen, does this mean then what you said earlier in the post about the Snatch working on 3 sizes smaller but improved grab on 2 or less not true? Snatch only works on 3 sizes smaller and that's it? Nothing comes of 2 or less sizes? Tellerve

Ideas for Rogue in Heavy Armor

But no more evasion with heavy armor. A big plus as was previously mentioned. Is there any Wotc source that has a magical enchantment that brings the armor up a category? Heavy to medium? I was thinking if so then you could get a Mithril heavy armor then enchant it to light. Tellerve

Designing an undead cleric one-shot PC

Oohh, they are finally going to free that god. Neat :) I don't really have any suggestions beyond what Gestalt said. I know there was a thread recently about an undead character though, so you might wanna search for that. Tellerve

    Druids animal companion

huh, I'll be darned. I still like the idea of them getting bigger though :( Although I can see problems with creatures that 'could' get really big and thus do. In any case, how would you rule a wolf of larger size being an animal companion? I'm guessing it would be in the level -3 category...

    TWF penalties

I'm also one of those guys that sees it from the fence. I find the Two Weapon Defense feat to be a bit telling, but to answer your question how you'd like it to be answered RigaMortus2, I don't really see a big difference in holding a shield vs a weapon in the game. I'll just have to read the...

    [Eberron] Revisiting Warforged

I have Races of Eberron but not with me right now, ya know Thanksgiving and traveling and all, but I am fairly sure I read in there that Warforged float as much as humans do. Remember warforged aren't all metal and stone, but have wood and "other" organic material as well. I guess they could...

    TWF penalties

Ahh, no, I was addressing Qvintus' logic about "swoard and board" fighters. I'm not sure if he was just confused or what. Fighters don't get a TWF penalty unless they are using the shield as a weapon. Acting as a ac shield they don't. Perhaps I shouldn't have tried to clarify his post :)...

    TWF penalties

But sword and board fighters as you call them aren't using the shield as a weapon. Only special fighters that have special training use their shields as weapons alongside their normal weapon. Hence why they take the TWF and get the penalties and while normal sword and boarders don't and just...

    Rogue Power Feats

I hadn't looked at the Elusive target that way but I think you might have a point. I was wondering though about the "first attack" qualifier on you and as you say the AoO would/could be that first attack so it could work, assuming that person was your dodge partner and when the AoO was...
