    I need some rocket launchers.

Granted it isn't what your after but the web-suppliment to Modern d20 has the "typical" rpg (i'm thinking the soviet one), as well as claymores, flashbangs and other fun stuff. Tellerve

    The use of tumble...

In the newest Dragon there is a PrC of Halfling monks that gain an ability to make a feint with the tumbling skill instead of bluff. Pretty neat prc I think as well. I think teamed up with that Fighting style feat of giantkiller it would be neat to see a halfling running up ogres and giants...

Sins of Our Fathers - 2/10 - Final Update

Oh yeah, that'll be something to scare someone really bad, the Duck totem warrior. Hmm, err, yeah, doesn't quite have the viciousness of a Leopard, Tiger, Bear or heck even a Rabbit totem warrior. Hmm, although geese are exceptionally nasty, downright mean. And at my mom's place in North...

Takyris and others...? about a cinematic manuvers

One of the stereotypical manuvers in movies is to move from some sort of cover to another area of cover and fire your gun fairly blindly in the direction of what you want to shoot in order to vaguely give yourself your own covering fire. So, Takyris, would you pretty much have those people be...

    Tranquilizer Darts?

Hey Takyris- Any luck on fleshing out these poison rules more? I only ask, because, well, they are sharp and go very well with the way I want to have poison work. If you haven't then no worries, I'll run with what you have. Basically starting to try and compile rules variants and thoughts...

    Americanarchy [Updated 8 March, 2004]

I knew you were fishing too, and I totally took the bait. I'm debating between the amazing desire to play versus DM. If only I had a clone! LOL. But seriously, umm, you should do a modern d20 campaign, not that tired FR stuff :P Tellerve

*click* refresh....err Ahhh AHH! WEEEE!! *reads* mhmm, Lovely! Go Canada, lol. Man, I so terribly want to play in a campaign like this. *sigh* maybe I can just steal the idea near wholesale and try and run it here for people. Great job C. Baize Tellerve

Modern d20, NYC Testing the waters

hm, guess I'm not sure exactly what you mean Epiphanis. The premise of the campaign if I were to make one would be similar to those story hours like Medallions, DarkMatter Drunk Girls yadda yadda etc. Ones that would have the group either being part of a splinter branch of the government or...

    Stomp?

*nods* coo, apology accepted. :) Tellerve p.s. Yes, I did mean "coo", my own derivation of cool said in a soft approving way.

    How is modern?

Kanegrundar- LOL, those sound like such fun one-offs as ya call 'em. Man, I would love to have been at the table for them. I totally understand what you mean about having so many ideas to go with modern though. Tough to decide what to keep in and what not to in building a campaign. Tellerve

Back issues of Polyhedron worth getting

maybe I'm doing something wrong but I seem to only be able to find #100, 104, 105, and 106 as available on Paizo's website. *sigh* probably missed out and they are out of print or something. I'll try to find a gaming store around here, although I heard the pickin's are a bit slim in Brooklyn...

Back issues of Polyhedron worth getting

So are these polyhedrons that are easily gotten through backordering? And if so do I just look through the table of contents of the books to find the listings of say, Iron Lords of Jupiter, or are there certain numbers of polyhedrons that would make it easier to find them. thanks, Tellerve

    Stomp?

*shrugs* I was trying to weigh the benefit of holding someone "grappled" under your foot and you not be, with something other than the -20 to a grapple check. I was thinking of something like the Dwarven Defender's stance ability. Something where you couldn't move, got a benefit (ie holding...

    Stomp?

hmm, usually monsters and such use that -20 so that not only are they not considered grappling but then they can move with the grappled person. Or maybe I'm not reading it correctly. At any rate, with what your describing, you could work something into the fact that the person doing the foot...

Using 2-Handed Melee Weapons While Mounted(?)

I don't think using a two handed weapon would be that hard on the back of a horse if you were already trained in the use of the weapon and riding. And I surely don't think it is an "exploit" do such. As for the reason for ranged weapons getting a penalty, you are shooting something far away...

Massive Modern adventure....Twisted GM assistance requested!

Modern d20, NYC Testing the waters

doh, dang, would love to but I fly back that day and dont' get in until fairly late. Epiphanis- As for the campaign, well, I've got several somewhat divergent campaign thoughts. It would depend on how much of certain supernatural stuff people would want. I am not into the Drow/Orcs and such...
