Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

That tells me nothing, in theory that could also show more demand, so they keep a larger stock. My supermarket has way more milk in stock than Filipino cookies, I do not think that means the cookies are selling so much better

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

that does happen anyway, even with preserving the only question is what 'standard of living' you / WotC want for the world. If preserving is the baseline, you do not have to power down the players and upcasting works for the defilers.

US Tariffs: $80-$200 Surcharge On All Packages Regardless of Price

I mean, worst case everything gets held up in customs and you pay your $80 or whatever when they contact you and ask you to pick it up. The problem is not how to do it, it is volume

US Tariffs: $80-$200 Surcharge On All Packages Regardless of Price

the difference is that they do 'know' of every package coming in, they know nothing about what people download We can spin this even further, when I buy a car, either the whole thing was imported or parts were imported and taxed at that time, all of that is relatively easy to track. How much...

how is that supposed to work, I download them from some site and no one knows anything about it, and I do not know if it is hosted in the US or not either the production of, not the purchase / viewing, and it didn't go anywhere

Critical Role to Use D&D 2024 Rules For Campaign Four, Expands to Three Tables and Thirteen Players

not sure I follow, adventures, bestiaries, etc. are also designed with the system in mind, and which system to choose is the developer’s choice

but it works better as a game. Also, in world there is no distinction between the two, preserving is weaker than defiling, who can say which of the two is ‘normal’. If everyone made $1000 a month for defiling or $800 with preserving, that is the same as $1250 and $1000 respectively. That $1000...

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

it’s mentioned as a setting in the 2024 DMG, I don’t think it would be in there if the decision to release it had not been made by then yet, so none of the recent people. Could also have just been a change of mind or a matter of finding the right angle for a reboot. From almost getting killed...

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

you could always change the baseline, the preserving casting is the one you are used to while defiling is automatically upcast

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

should be Restoration Preserving still defiles, just less, so things can recover, there is no real non-defiling yes, anyone else should still be defiling/preserving (as in defiling less)

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

maybe, but the reverse seems to also be true. Some people just object to everything WotC does and would be way less critical if a 3pp were to release the exact same book probably same

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

the level of screwup is in the eye of the beholder. If nothing but a carbon copy will do, that is on (general) you. I am sure there are people that think they screwed up DL or Planescape, just like there are ones that do not think so. The same will be true here. I think they could stick the...

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

the less things there are to go by, the less that thing has an identity. If I call a car ‘car’, but call a bus, plane, and boat ‘car’ as well, I lost meaning and ‘car’ is now basically just ‘vehicle’ If you removed ‘snake hair’ instead of ‘female’, a female basilisk would now be a medusa

Ben Riggs: 'The Golden Age of TTRPGs is Dead'
