Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

Schweet...a divine face off. So you went with the dwarven cleric route? Can't wait to see him.

Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

burnout: That is fine with me, but just because the game is starting in the Western Heartlands, the starting chars do not have to originally be from there. They simply will start in the town of Daggerdale and travel to where the adventure starts. Industrygothica: Looking forward to seeing your...

Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

H4H: As far as your char went, the only thing I wanted was the trimming down of the extra stuff you would gain along the way and the removal of the skills that you didn't have any ranks in. I really like the concept but want to wait a little bit longer before I hand the spot over. If you could...

Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

Checked out the char gen page. It does seem a useful tool. Thanks for showing it to me. The regional feats and gear are designed to add a bit of flavor to the chars by allowing them to choose a bonus from being from a certain part of the world in the Realms. I was really hoping that everyone...

    Ptolus: The Legend of Longcoat

I know I am coming in late in the day on this one, but thought what the heck..might as well throw in an idea even if it doesn't get picked up. The concept I have is one of a priest of The Lady, nearly a fallen one to be honest, who works the docks healing those he can when his spells are...

Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

Barsallas: Just out of curiosity do you have the FRCS? If the majority of the people in the game do not have it, I will change the setting to regular generic D&D. The only difference will be the loss of the regional feat and gear as free lvl 1 benefits.

Lamentation of Lolth - OoC VIII

I broke out the little gnome mage in LEW and hope he will survive long enough for me to gain 6 months of XP..:) And deaths always have a nice twist to them in stories, even when the person would be better off staying dead...

    L2: The Dragon's Maw (Erekose13 judging)

Merlis Appleton, Gnome Abjr1 If Mr. Dez meant to impress them with his display of wealth, the effect succeeded in Merlis' book. Although the sitting room did not contain any chairs for those of shorter stature, no doubt a product of there being very few gnomes who would ever need a lawyer, the...

Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

No need to rush as we have plenty of time between now and Mon and with interest not being too great, most likely due to the probs I had in the past, it may be an open market for you guys. While I won't try to shoehorn anyone into a class they don't want to be, I do hope that we have all the...

Lamentation of Lolth - OoC VIII

While I don't think we will be seeing too many Ghost Walkers, I understand your point Velmont. And with the money you guys have on hand, you could donate enough stuff now to have someone raised.

Lamentation of Lolth - OoC VIII

I don't think that will happen...Cal and you are tough, even for elves, and I don't think that the original squad should be counted out yet. You never know what the future will bring...

Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

Ahh...without the FRCS, it is going to be hard to keep the feel of the game for you, as many things will tie in directly to it as far as dieties go. If you get selected though, we can work on filling in the blanks. So no worries on that part..

    L2: The Dragon's Maw (Erekose13 judging)

Merlis Appleton, Gnome Abjr 1 As the larger man's voice boomed loudly in their placid surroundings, Merlis winced slightly and hoped that their value had not dropped further in the eyes of the doorman. "We did not have the chance to pay your messanger to bring you tidings of our arrival, but...

Lamentation of Lolth - OoC VIII

Very true...all it took was the perceived death of three of thier companions..:) All in all, I know you guys will be fine...bruised maybe, but fine in the end. Besides, this will be a great fight to snap you guys out of the mistrust funk. Well...maybe it will..

Max gold for starting at lvl 1 as well as the free regional gear that the chars can select.

Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

H4H and Burnout...could you guys clean up the sheets a little so I can just read what they have currently at lvl1? Also just put the skills they have ranks in, not the ones they can do untrained. Avoiding looking at sheets initially was why I had asked for just the base concept and history, but...

Hunters needed in the Western Heartlands (OOC Thread)

The point buy system is exactly that, and if you need the points I can get them to you. I am still just looking mainly at the concepts of the chars, so if you want to "sell" me on them just think of the idea and go from there. I am pretty open and flexible when it comes to char classes.

Can it be the quiet gnome is becoming a battle commander? And all it took was his book killing three people..:)

Lamentation of Lolth - OoC VIII

Not to be a bad scout about all this, but to move to Calenthang's side you would have had to pass in and around the ogres and be just about in the middle of the stinking cloud. Unless Majin sees it differently than how I have pictured to combat field. On the plus side, you do have a point with...
