Comparing the D&D episodes of Community to what I've seen of this, its to me its plain which one is laughing at the D&D players and which one is laughing with them. IMO, YMMV. Obviously not a fan of this show but its not due to portrayal of D&D.

For me its cheating, not informing the group that you are going to miss, being unable to go 5 minutes without launching into a rant about the President/politics, checking out of the game when its not your turn.

The lack of summoning is a huge negative for me. Honestly the druid is kind of lame, which is why I have to amuse myself by summoning hogs and carrying them around. I want to summon waves of minions.

We just all roll, and the group that beat the monsters goes, then the bad guys, then the rest of the party. We don't track order in those groups.
