Khan's Rule for Prostitution and D&D

Well, unlike so many others that read about prositution not being highlighted in the Book of Vile Darkness, I was really disappointed. So, I bring to everyone's attention my own dedication to D&D prostitution: /me places a sign around his neck stating, "Will make sweet monkey love for d20...

[art, hosted] DnD Iconics Gallery! Today: Hennet!

But what of poor Regdar? He couldn't intimidate a kobold on a natural 20 with that waistline and those skinny arms. ;) Seriously though, I was just wondering if it was more of your artistic style to "think thin". I really do like the pics, I just think a few are either taking the Subway diet...

    Book of Vile Darkness

WHAT?! Damn. /me goes to release his chained, nude wifey from the altar. :(

Interesting mass media D&D mention by the last person you'd expect...

I knew I loved that woman for more than just her looks. Um, I mean, GO D&D! YAY! :p

[art, hosted] DnD Iconics Gallery! Today: Hennet!

Claudio, I've had issues with your style in the past, but it seems to be growing on me -- I really like your iconics for the most part. But I have one question that I just can't contain: Why can all of your iconics (male, female, tough fighters or scrawny spellcasters) fit into a size 6 dress...

    The Quintessential D&D Artist.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! :) This reminds me of those "metal-heads" from the 70s that cannot accept Metallica and the like, but still for some STRANGE reason consider KISS truly hardcore.

    The Quintessential D&D Artist.

OK, not trying to come across as rude towards other people's opinions, but this is just striking me as really odd. I played "way back" when Mr. Otus and others mentioned in this thread provided excellent artwork for D&D. I loved his art, I really did... for that time period of fantasy art. My...

[WOTC]D20 Modern: Straight to SRD or NOT?

It would be a damn shame if WotC put d20 Modern into the SRD before doing so for the following: The rest of the "Core" Manual of the Planes Deities and Demigods Stronghold Builder's Guidebook Epic Level Handbook

    The Quintessential D&D Artist.

WHAT?! NO GERALD BROM?! /me faints Seriously though, from among the list offered, and the choice for best "D&D" artist (no 1e, AD&D, etc.), my vote goes to Wayne Reynolds. There is always talent by someone with the last name of "Reynolds" or "Cook" in this industry. ;)

    Book of Vile Darkness

To a point, you're quite right. However, those few people that are against tBoVD aren't using key terms like "if", "may", and the like -- they're actually speaking as if they magically know exactly how Monte and the rest of the team at WotC handled every topic and how HORRIBLY they did that job...

    Book of Vile Darkness

Heh. :) You took one sentence that led into me elaborating my reasoning -- reread the whole thing and you'll see my meaning, thanks. You should also read what was in parenthesis of that quote as well, while you're at it. And at no point was I suggesting censorship. I never asked for an EN...

    Book of Vile Darkness

NeghVar, does it hurt to be so right? ;) Face it everyone: no amount of whine nor worry will stop this book from seeing print. Nothing you people say or do at these forums or countless others will be able to force WotC to change their minds about a book that is slated for release THIS SOON...

    Book of Vile Darkness

You're 100% correct -- it is truly far from censorship. When one takes into account that we know SQUAT about the content of the book (the specifics, anyway), it is downright... IDIOTIC. Hmm... I'm getting too passionate about this already and I'm barely into my reply. I believe in the...

    Question for Publishers....

This thread has been done before, so I'll give you samples of "most publishers". ;) Most publishers either use QuarkXPress or InDesign. Most publishers either use Word or Wordperfect. Acrobat 5.0 for .pdf makers. :)

Branstorming for ENnies 2003 -- improvements, changes, etc

After giving OA a second look, I can easily see why the judges picked it as one of the nominations. It has been said already why it won Best Setting: it is truly a good work and the recognition and history of WotC were just too much for any other campaign world to tackle and win against. No...

EN World Members: D&D / D20 Bragging Rights

ACK!! I guess I'm evil as well! Rape the horses and kill the women! Er, that didn't come out quite right.
