    Hydras overpowered?

    I've been thinking that hydras are overpowered. Take a 12 header. Add the regrowing heads part. Add cyro or pyro. A hydra that regrows heads can have up yo double the original number of heads. Pyro and Cyro give it a breath weapon at 3d6 per head. So 24 heads time 3d6 equals 72d6 breath weapon...

    Alternate XP.

    The DM of my group has been thinking about awarding XP "on the fly". Basiclly your party of five level one characters kill a CR 1 boom everybody get 60xp. How does everyone think this will work?

    XP and Levels.

    The module my PC's are currently in has numerous high CR fights but allows time to rest but not long enough to take the time required to level up. As a matter of a fact from my calculation the will gain 4 levels.

    Multiclassing abuse.

    One of my players a sorcerror decided to gain a level of paladin so that he could get the save bonus and other powers. Given this players past I give two sessions top before he violates the code of conduct. But does anyone else have any ideas for some stuff for me to do to him for doing this?

    Two questions.

    1. Does lightning bolt cast underwater work like it did in 2E where it explodes like a fireball? 2. The half-elf says they are considered elves for purposes of special abilities so does this mean they have longsword or rapier and longbow proficiency.

    Question on monk and BAB.

    If I have a monk with a BAB and UBAB of 5 and he had 10 fighter levels his BAB with weapons would be 15/10/5 I'm clear on that part. However would his unarmed BAB be 15/12/9/6/3 or for unarmed attacks would he use the standard BAB 15/10/5.

    One quick question.

    Would letting the fighter have his heavy warhorse Awakened by a Druid be a bit unbalancing? P.S. Once an animal has been Awakened it can start to gain levels right?

    What is the highest damage hit you can get? Example: lvl 20 Paladin with a merciual greatsword.     Night Of The Living Dead

    To simulate hard to stop part of it give them regeneration of however much you see fit and let it be canceled by criticals. Like the trolls regen is overcome by fire/acid.

    Re: broadsides of barns Actually a attack roll would be required because the broadside of a barn has a AC of -4 I believe. It's in the Players Handbook saw it when I was looking through last weekend.

    Yes but for PC who are designed to have time between fights unlike most monsters who only see one this can become useful.

    Yeah I love it to I'm just afraid my DM won't when I cast it. Another good combo could be Probability Mantle from ITCK. AA 20% miss chance and ability to reroll one dice a round for 24 hours game time. Very cool IMHO. I love psionics.
