You might check out Noble Knight Games - pretty sure they have it listed for $0.01 (needs to accompany another "regular" item). AJC

D&D 4E Running player commentary on PCat's 4E Campaign - Heroic tier (finished)

Just wanted to post a quick note commenting how great this thread is and how much I've been enjoying reading about the exploits of the group. Thanks to all; very much looking forward to future sessions!! AJC

    Recommend us some Wii games.

I have to admit ignorance here - no idea what "zappers" are... As an aside, we just picked up LEGO Indiana Jones and it's even better (IMHO) than Batman. I seems to be far more challenging than Batman was. Again, great fun!! AJC

    Forums are Painfully slow

It does seem to be a little better (still a 30-60 second lag) this morning; actually getting pages to load (wasn't getting anything last night). AJC

    Ultimate Digital Gaming Table

Sounds simply awesome - I'd love to be able to play at a table like that. You might want to consider some random die rollers (d6/d20/d8/etc.); player simply "presses a button" for an attack role/save/etc. Not sure if people would like to give up actually "rolling" their own dice, but it would...

    Recommend us some Wii games.

One quick point about the LEGO series; if you want to play with 2 players at the same time, you'll need 2 nunchucks. AJC

    Art Recycling

As much as I'd like to see all new art in every book, I can understand the "want" to use recycled stuff. As long as it is good, and suits the text, it's not too much of an issue for me. I think that is shows some of the depth that WotC has developed in the amount and quality of art they have...

    Wargames for casual newcomers?

As mentioned previously, Conflict of Heroes is a pretty slick game. Note that as you delve into more detailed and simulationist-style games, they become less "casual"...;) Don't know of any WWI games, but ofr WWII, some thing you might want to check out include ASL (Advanced Squad Leader)...

    Recommend us some Wii games.

We got a Wii for the family this past Christmas as well. Mario Kart is a LOAD of fun; currently, we're enjoying LEGO Batman, which 2 people can play at the same time. Kids are also loving Cooking Mama, Animal Crossing (my wife loves this one too) and Wii Fit (we all like this). As a previous...

I'd completely missed this one. If it's on par with GalCivII, then I'll be picking it up pretty quickly. AJC

Jan '09: What Are You Reading?

War Against the Chtorr...wow, I remember reading that series a long time ago... If I recall, I was into Gamma World (or some other post-apocalyptic game) at the time; really enjoyed the series. Currently reading the Darkblade omnibus; enjoyed the first book a lot more that I was...

    Naval Combat System Suggestions?

You might want to look into Uncharted Seas by Spartan Games. It's a fantasy based naval miniatures game that has received some pretty good reviews/comments. It's not exactly cheap (~$30 for the rules), so it might be a little too much if you're just looking for a one-time thing. AJC
