Verys Arkon's Character Booklet (v2) New 1 page version beta.

In the non-calculating beta version the area for resistances, bonuses to saves, etc., isn't fillable. I still love it, though.

Verys Arkon's Character Booklet (v2) New 1 page version beta.

Sweet! How about a version that's fillable, but does NOT auto-fill?

    Adventuers Valt Q&A

Very cool! Thanks! I'm currently playing a Warforged Juggernaut that's visually based on Marvel Comics' Thor when he was in the Destroyer armor so this works perfectly for me. Excellent...

    Warforged: MM vs Dragon Magazine

Ridiculous. The Monster Manual entry is specifically created for making NPCs. The Dragon edition is for players. Nothing is superceded at all. Anyone else having trouble logging in to D&D Insider right now?

    Sacred Cows You Hope Die?

That's happening more and more all the time, I think with the new settings. Warforged and shifters don't strike me as being very 'Tolkien-ish', for example.

    Sacred Cows You Hope Die?

More good calls, particularly permanent level loss. That's quite possibly the most frustrating, un-fun thing I've ever encountered in a game. Vampires drain levels by punching people? That's nuts!

    Sacred Cows You Hope Die?

Good call. Perhaps we could simply have BAB, but feats could be allow characters to do that with Strength, just like Weapon Finesse does currently with Dexterity...

    Sacred Cows You Hope Die?

That's how Detect Evil works in my group's games. The spell or ability detects Evil with a capital E--beings with an aura of evil, like clerics, or creatures with the evil subtype--not ordinary everyday jerks. We do tend to give the evil subtype to necromancers and undead more often, though...

    Most Common House Rules

I use a lot of house rules. Off the top of my head: No AoO AC bonuses based on class and level Action Points based on what's used in Spycraft and Adventure! HP rolls are considered half the die roll if the player rolled under half on the die Death is at negative Con HP No favored classes No...

    RANT: Attacks of Opportunity

I don't care for them at all and I can't remember the last time my group used them. We just prefer for our combat to be faster paced and more cinematic. It's been my experience that AoO encourage players to play their characters like weiners instead of adventurers. Sounds like plenty of...
