    Rpgnow creditcard information stolen

 No. I'm not a mod. Why? Do I need to be to ask politely that folks contact RPGNow if they have greivances. By all means, discuss away. I'm not going to tell you to do anything. The mood this thread is in, I doubt folks would listen anyway. :sigh:

    Rpgnow creditcard information stolen

Ogrork, they did the right thing. They identified the people who might be affected by this and contacted them directly via email. Putting something on their site would be counter-productive as the affected people aren't likely to see it unless the happen to go there, and just serve to scare the...

    Rpgnow creditcard information stolen

I want to send something positive to James and RPGNow. James, thank you for the way you've handled this. You've been open and honest. You notified the customers who were affected as soon as was possible and given the correct advice. You've done everything that you could think of to keep folks...

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

I'm getting lazy in my old age. Anyone care to add these to the Tactical Modifiers page for me? Ta!

    Its official!

Well that's it then. The speculation end here :)

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

Think I speak for all of us when I say thanks for the praise! We're kinda poud of Microlite20 (and it's little brother, ultramicrolite20) in all it's diminutive beauty. Pocketmods are the future, you know. When it comes to spells, either use the Spell Lists as provided on the downloads page...

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

You wish is my command. Don't try to think about that sentence in D&D terms, it'll make your brain hurt. I've added a page for TacticalModifiers to the Macropedia and dropped them in. Anyone, feel free to hit this "Edit this page" link at the bottom of the page and add your own too. Same for...

What classes haven't been done yet?

I never thought I'd say this, but............. I want the Strong, Fast, Tough, Smart, Dedicated and Charismatic classes from d20 Modern. I want Fighter, Rogue, Wizard's Apprentice, Bard, Cleric and whatever else occupations alongside City Guard, Monk, Commoner and lots of other fantasy...

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

New critters duely added to the Critter Collection. The first person to plausibly put gows into an adventure wins a single blank sheet of paper, ready to be turned into an M20 pocketmod :) You're right about Magical Attack bonus. It needs clarifying when it should be used (if at all). I'll give...

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

It's used for any spells that require a roll to make the attack and it's not ranged or melee. Or psionics stuff. Or magical battles between Magi where they toss energy at each other. Or anything else that involves shouting loud words while waving your arms to scare the natives :) Hope that helps.

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

There's nothing like a good bit of monster fluff to make me smile :) Good stuff there Ry - proof positive that the Critter Generator works! It makes up the stats, so you can invent the cool stuff. Nice. Darnitall, I'm going to use some of these in my next M20 adventure, just because. C'mon...

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

Now for a little silliness :D I've throw together a random creature generator for Microlite20 called critters . It's based on Chris Pound's werd random word generator, with added M20 goodness thrown in. As an aside, I highly recommend that page if you want random names, words, Cthulhoid...

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

Kensanata, I'd have loved to be in that game :) Sounds great, and just goes to prove it can be fun even when adventurers fail. I think you handled it perfectly on all counts. Good work! The more I think of it, the more I'm all for keeping this thread together, if only because I want to see the...

    The New Rules Cyclopedia

A new D&D Rules Cyclopedia? I'd bite your hand off, chew at your fingernails and rip it from the stumps. Yep, I sooooooo want this product and I don't think it's impossible either. OD&D was no less complex than New D&D - it had huge combat tables remember, and an XP chart for each class, and...

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

I plead guilty to Ultramicrolite20 . It is to Microlite20 what M20 is to d20 - reduced and zenified down to just ten paragraphs. Scary, I know. I like your rules for magic, and think they'd work well for uM20's big brother too. We used uM20 for a short WWII scenario and enjoyed the way it ran...

What sort of product do you want to buy that no one is producing?

Ooo! A wishlist! OK, I'll bite. - A d20 version of the old D&D Rules Cyclopedia. One book with enough stuff in to game - monsters, spells, setting, mass combat, the works. They did it then, so why can't they do it now? - A Fantasy version of the d20 Menace Manual giving low/medium/high level...

To James Jacobs: A Growing Problem with Dungeon Magazine

The problem is that's what will happen. If an adventure designer can use cool spells they will, and loop them into the plot. Ain't nothing wrong with that of course, but it does mean that one adventure in that issue of Dungeon is likely to be unused by the majority of readers. Not fun. So...

What's the lamest monster you've seen made cool, and how?

Never trust a lame monster. Especially if it's a Kobold, as it's probably a trap and there's another 300 of the critters hiding just waiting to slingshot you to oblivion the minute you kick away his crutch. Oh. I see what you mean. For me, it has to be the Ethereal Filcher. Totally lame and...

To James Jacobs: A Growing Problem with Dungeon Magazine

Sorry, I'm not with you here. I'd much rather Dungeon focuses on Core when it comes to spells. A DM can chop and change from whatever other sources she has to hand during the preparation time just as they do with monsters, magic items, locations, etc. The last thing I want is an adventure...

Microlite20 : the smallest thing in gaming

Hi, Ray! By the looks of it, you've taken all of Microlite20, added XP back in and changed Magic so it uses Spell Points. I hope it works for you. I don't see where it says how many Spell Points are gained each level. Maybe I'm just being blind today. I'm not too sure about your idea or...
