JollyDoc's Shackled City: FINAL POST [Updated 11/2!!]

Aaaaaw! G, best of luck in your new life. Do your best to convince your wife RPG is a healthier way to spend your free time than playing poker with your pals. Worked for me :p I guess this spells the doom of your Entropy campaign too, eh? Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing how the...

Capellan, Are you planning to "upgrade" Kull to v3.5 by using the Pious Templar PrC from Complete Divine?

The Mésalliance. Part 1. (Updated 4/18.)

Well, to quote James D. Nicoll : The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words ;on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for...

    JollyDoc's Shackled City

I disagree. To me, that was good role-play. Kiko acted in character and, besides, he couldn't have known what fierce adversary was waiting for him. Way to go Kiko!

    JollyDoc's Shackled City-NPC's Only

Nope, the Book of the Righteous from Green Ronin. It was published for D&D v3.0 but adapting it to v3.5 is a breeze. In short, it gives you full details of a pantheon ready to be "plugged in" the world/setting of your choice. 5 stars out of 5 in the ENWorld review, no matter who did the review...

    JollyDoc's Shackled City-NPC's Only

As a GH long-time DM, I can tell you that Wee Jas would probably not condone (nor encourage) undead creation. While she has Death in her portfolio, and her LE clerics can command undeads, she (usually) doesn't authorize them to create any and even to command them they need her authorization...

Blackdirge's Suped Up Monster Thread: Monster Column Updated 06/26/06!

Blackdirge, Not to nit-pick but if your doom hurlers are really enjoying the same kind of protective slime as Babau, they won't benefit from their leather armor for long... :\

Alea Iacta Story Hour: A Mythic Rome Campaign (Baby Announcement: 8/17)

Orichalcum, I have been meaning to ask you.. How do you deal with destructive magic/psi in your campaign? I know already you have authorized magic & psionic to some degree, but I am curious about "heavy-handed" magic such as Call Lightning, Flame Strike and the like. Did you write it off...

    JollyDoc's Shackled City

Actually, no. What many fail to realize is that the new edition (3.0 & 3.5) use some elements of the World of Greyhawk setting (the major gods mainly) but isn't set in that world. Else we stubborn Greyhawk fans would be screaming for accessories to support the setting. Well, we're already...

    What's your favorite Sepulchrave moment?

Mostin summoning that wicked pseudonatural horror from the Far Realm and not being able to understand what the creature wanted as payment. I have a conjurer PC IMC which is always driving me nuts, so that part really made me laugh :p

The old I7 Baltron's Beacon module? Cool! I am impatient to see how Kull is going to deal with some of the stuff in that old classic of the 1st edition.. :heh:

    JollyDoc's Shackled City

Quite understandable. It's rarely fun to sit in silence while the others struggle to finish the adventure. Still, despite Caine's coolness factor, I regret Pez's .. er .. unique way to handle most situations ;)

    JollyDoc's Shackled City

That's not entirely true, is it? If I remember correctly, you yourself mentioned at the time that Jollydoc (via the Tyrian priestess) had offered you a chance to get back Pez. No?

    JollyDoc's Shackled City

Yay says I! It's just that, of late, dead characters have been replaced by new ones rather than brought back to life, so I assumed .. Anyway, I am happy we'll get to enjoy Grimm's company for a bit more :)
