    I would add, creatures who you can only see with darkvision can hide from you without needing any cover. this would add another reason to carry lights even if you have darkvision.

    yes and no. advantage/disadvantage should stack, at least to 3 dice(4 with Elven accuracy). now we have barbarians dropping prone at the end of the turn to avoid giving advantage to ranged attacks vs them.
