Pulp Spycraft (FINAL UPDATE!) *Updated 04/15/03*

Dropping nukes and deforestation goes against animalistic instinct. But let's not bog down this great story hour with philosophy. Please e-mail me if you'd like to discuss it. Jonrog, bring on the story!

Pulp Spycraft (FINAL UPDATE!) *Updated 04/15/03*

Just got finished reading this story hour, and I have to say that I'm enjoying it immensely. I'm planning on running a Spycraft game, but I was kinda put-off by the (seemingly) silliness of it. Moreover, I was a bit skeptical when I read it was set in 1940. It really is good though, and I'm...

The Adventures of the Knights of Spellforge Keep- UPDATED 6/6

But a character's able to see who's trying to raise him, correct? So hypothetically, Jamison could just be waiting for the party.

Party Level vs. Character Level Awards

Heh, okay. Then that is what I shall do. Thanks!

Party Level vs. Character Level Awards

Hm. Well I certainly have the time, and I'm close to distributing the XP awards from my last game. Thus, before I did, I was just checking why I shouldn't.

Party Level vs. Character Level Awards

As per my topic, I don't see why the rules don't award XP according to character level instead of party level. On one hand when I think about it, a level 2 character could participate in a battle with level 20 characters and get a copacious amount of experience. On the other hand, when mages...

The Adventures of the Knights of Spellforge Keep- UPDATED 6/6

Hmmmm. I think Raelin overreacted. Either that or he's a wussy boy. In any case, whilst I'm not overly fond of Jamison, I'm sure if those two come back looking for trouble Vek can kick them into another plane of existence. So here's to that. And here's to my new vorpal sword! ::raises glass::

Lay on hands, sneak attacks and burning hands

Cyraneth, is there any reference in the rulebook how it only affects unattended objects? I have no problems with that, except there seems to be a lot of opinions on the matter, and I'm not sure what's official.

Lay on hands, sneak attacks and burning hands

Re: Re: Lay on hands, sneak attacks and burning hands So that would include the creature's clothing, right? What about animals and their fur? Our sorcerer believed that wolves would catch on fire with that spell, and I agreed with him.

    OpenRPG D&D 3e game

Hey there. Currently looking for one or two players to join our game. We're running the WotC adventure series (it's everyone's first time trying those adventures) and it's set in the Forgotten Realms. We're playing every Monday from 8:30pm EST to midnight, although that's liable to change...

Lay on hands, sneak attacks and burning hands

Just ran a game of mine tonight and a few questions came up. First off, when a rogue is flanking, if he gets an AoO on the creature he's flanking, he's allowed a sneak attack, correct? Also, is a rogue's ability to sneak attack a flanking creature negated if that flanked creature is...

The Adventures of the Knights of Spellforge Keep- UPDATED 6/6

Well I certainly wouldn't have a problem, although it'd be me agreeing more with the use of my name then the actual character. As proud as I am to be mentioned in this SH, my character really is Doc's and Wee Jas's creation. But I can think of some problems that arise. What if Metus were to...

    "Out of the Frying Pan" - Book II: Catching the Spark (Part Two) - {complete}

Nice. Gotta love the big updates. :D Something that's been nagging on me everytime I see it mentioned is Martin's ring. It allows him to go without food or sleep, right? However, if he needs to eat (if only for show), why does he not just take off the ring, eat, and then put it back on...

The Adventures of the Knights of Spellforge Keep

Hum. Well, as tempting as being a mummy can be (Imhotep, anyone?), I don't think he's gotten as much out of life as he could've. I'll say raise! And hey, thanks for the option! Kind of like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" thing going on.

I'll say I like the longer updates. Much more meatier. And it's good to see you got your comp problems resolved, Nemm.

The Adventures of the Knights of Spellforge Keep

Ohhhh yeah! Erasmus! I completely forgot about him! I think it should turn out that he's good too and he joins up with the group. Maybe not one of my most favorite characters but he's old-school Knights, so it'd be a cool addition.

The Adventures of the Knights of Spellforge Keep

Hmmm... I'm still hung up on the gems. Besides anything else, that seemed like a VERY unlawful action. Stealing from a prisoner while he slept strikes me as chaotic. If there was anyone who had a lawful alignment, I would question the role-playing of such. Not that the role-playing is ever...
