Not that I've played EOTN, but I enjoy some of the traveling. It's kind of fun to wander around and explore, particularly as I've become less of a niblet.

There might be a setting inside IE. In firefox, it's a new setting, new tabs vs new windows from links. I think it's an IE setting too.

Yes, the Wavebird works just fine (I have 2 hooked up). The only note, is any Wii game that uses them or a classic controler will default to them first if they are plugged in. You also need a GC memory Card. I highly recomend Tales of Symphonia if the GC if you like Final Fantasy style RPGs...

Heroes should help. As for running problems, often that's an issue of taking too many quests. I just got Nightfall, and it seems pretty enjoyable. I got my main character over there to get Heroes, and he'll be heading back to Prophacies soon.
