Spam being sent from the server actualy. I'm hoping the move to EW2 will let us upgrade the server on the software side. That's up to the admins if they want to do that though.

I think we're hoping that the EW2 upgrade may resolve some speed issues as well by streamlining some of the inefficient and hodgepodge code. ~11 days to go before we see that though.

You have links or that just a rumor? Fallout's appeal partially was it's 2D game simplicity along with it's leveling system. Very different game than Oblivion. I think a sandbox feel like Oblivion would hurt the series, and the leveling system of Oblivion is it's weakest link. I do realize...

What version? A non-3dhardware enhanced version should be just fine to play. The hardware specific ones (Nvidia or 3DFX), well, you're probably screwed.

I loved X3. I stopped just short of being able to afford my first Destroyer, but had something in the neighborhood of 30+ factories/Complexes. I'm not sure if I finished the plot or not, since my first major complex was in Paranid space. I was also enjoying setting up a trading dock system...

I would tend to suggest avoiding the headache of using cross edition stuff, even if it's 3.0 which is mostly compatible. That said, I don't remember anything about that PrC.
