Of a different mindset, myself - if they're going to do another dragon-centric adventure, I'd rather they do it in a different setting that uses dragons in different ways. Maybe Eberron? An expedition to Argonessen, or perhaps meddling in Prophecy as (or against) agents of the Chamber?

I seem to recall something about copper dragons being known to foster wyrmlings of other dragon types, presumably in the hopes that their influence might keep the chromatic ones (in particular) from turning out evil. Honestly don't recall the source for that, though... I'd imagine something 3e...
