    Eberron and Children's literature?

Keith Baker (the Eberron creator)'s website does not mention it. I think this is just a case of "similar names." Put in "Keith Baker" sometimes in Google--while "our" Baker shows up a lot, he's not the only one!

Info from the WotC 2007 January to April Catalog

Am I the only one worried about the page reduction in this Revised RCR? The RCR was 384 pages, and now we only have 288? I find it rather surprising that they'll be able to add all this new stuff AND drop about 100 pages. :\ I'm excited in general, but worried about this.

One Monster in a Huge Dungeon

I have nothing to add to the original poster's premise (though it is neat). The Keep was originally a novel by F. Paul Wilson. I haven't seen the film, but it doesn't seem that great. The book, however, was most excellent.

    [Eberron] Why I like Warforged

I might be disagreed with here, but I always thought that the Race (Lizards) of Harry Turtledove's "Worldwar/Colonization" series to be excellent examples of a well-thought out alien species. Their biology and history really made 'em, I thought.

I've given up on WotC's message boards. What about you?

Not anymore! Katanas are OK. The problem with "katana" threads previously was due to the "fan-boy" nature of those who love All Things JapaneseTM. You had "realists" arguing with Ninja-are-teh-Roxxorz, etc., and I suppose they ended up being such a problem. Unlike EN World, the WotC are...

They're not winking--Rich Burlew always has left/right side size differences to show perspective (haven't you ever noticed how their feet tend to be different sizes?).

    3rd Edition Planar Books?

Something that I never see (or not very often) is . . . how well do each inhabitants of a plane know about other planes, if at all? In my current game idea, I keep going back and forth between the average person knows nothing about other planes and that he knows that other worlds exist. In...

    3rd Edition Planar Books?

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! Might I ask about the meaning or purpose of "planar factions"? Is this a reference to Planescape? Personally, I'm not fond of the standard D&D cosmology--I prefer something like Beyond Countless Doorways, where planes are more "random," with no...
