    1648 - Revised 7th Sea?

That will be great. I would very much like to get a revised edition of 7th Sea.

    Thoughts on Masterbook/Shatterzone?

I really enjoyed Shatterzone. The mechanics were fun, the cards were cool, and the setting was really really awesome.

    Semi-exploding dice?

    Those are some serious d4's.

Once, Twice, Three times a Daily

I think I did a houserule similar to this in 2e. Any spellcaster had to make a Wisdom check (if cleric or druid) or an Int check (if wizard). Each time they wanted to cast a spell in which they were already out, the DC would get higher. If they failed, they needed to rest.

Once, Twice, Three times a Daily

I never had much of a big deal with limited uses on various powers other than I like it to be at least more than 1/day. Aside from that, I'm fine with them.

    Re-visiting the Tiers

    Yep, you're right! Good call!

    Stat bumps from level increase

This reminds me of Runequest and similar games. You got to roll above your current stat in order to increase it. In Runequest if you succeed, it can go up 2-4%. If you fail, it only goes up by 1%

    New WotC Column- Sneak Attack

I like 3.0's treatment. Pathfinder is a little too relaxed in my opinion on it. But I'm flexible. For the next edition, if they want to go back to just being able to do backstab or keep it at how 4e does, I'm fine with it.

    Re-visiting the Tiers

There you go. I get to make six clones of my character. The Dungeon Master is my Friend. Trust the Dungeon Master. Exploring dungeons while happy is mandatory. Find those Commy Mutant Orcs and eliminate them. ;)

    Re-visiting the Tiers

Interesting, but you'd be skewing the probabilities toward keeping high numbers and discarding low numbers. For example, if I throw 3d20 and in order for me to accept an automatic 1, then all my dice needs to be 1. This is a 1 in 8000 shot whereas my chance of getting a 20 on any of the of the...

    D&D 5E (2014) How Should D&D Next Be Advertised?

If they do a television advertising, they need to reach an audience of kids, but it also needs to go in mainstream stores like WalMart and Toys R Us. If it's just going to wind up in the FLGS, there's really no point in doing mass advertising. If they are going to advertise in magazines, they...

    Classes you play the most

Paladins and wizards for me. Paladin is usually the first character class I create for any game that has it.

    D&D 5E (2014) Flow in D&DNext

I'm so down with this idea! But I would like to start the challenge ratings as CR 1 vs. Level 1 party a challenge (Hey, Not Too Rough Difficulty) to CR 20 encounter vs. Level 20 party a deathmatch (or Nightmare! Difficulty).

    Critical Hits

I'm a big fan of 3.x to PF's take on crits. Just love the tension to confirm the roll, but once confirmed, you get to roll more dice. Of course, I enjoy threat ranges too. What I probably wouldn't be a fan of is if they did away with them in the next edition. One cool thing we did back in the...

    The D&D Logo

5,7,9, and 11 are my picks.

    Remove Expected Wealth Levels

I like WBL because it's a great measure for me to issue out rewards and balance how I'll place magic items. Since I didn't have it in 2e, I had adventures where there was hardly any treasure and others where it was Monty Haul which is definitely what I don't want to do. WBL always served as a...

    If D&D didn't exist

Traveller was the first rpg I saw being played and was what I asked my dad about. He knew what they were and bought me D&D for Christmas. However, if there was no D&D, then I probably would have gotten Star Frontiers (the 2nd rpg I got) or Traveller Basic Set (the third rpg I got)

Target 20 as new to-hit mechanic?

I'm not a fan of the target 20 because now I'm adding my opponents AC into the mix. I want less modifiers, not more. For example, in the old system if I have a 1st level fighter attacking an AC 10 opponent and he has a BAB +1, Str +4, I'll realize that I'll hit when I roll a 5, declare AC 10...
