I like the Ranger version in the phb, I've always hated that they could cast spells. The UA version is not perfect but feels like the ranger I always wanted in my game. Side note, it's weird and cool to see Wotc posters posting here now. Names I was use to seeing over there. :)

Not into the CCGs at all but always heard things about L5R through the years, listened to Happy Jacks RPG actual play podcasts and sounds like a beautiful setting. Looking at just a couple of books, I felt intimidated buy the rules so just need decided to buy a book. I've heard great things...

Like everyone else, not surprised whatsoever. Also like lyle.spade's last post, I lost interest in PF and moved on to 5E.

I gotta say, this adventure is kicking ass with all it's showing so far! Can't wait, already pre-ordered!

Actually too 2000-2001 for me, I'm afraid.

I liked it but surprised on the animation used, it's kind of dated but don't get me wrong it was cool to see the Demon Lords and the Mind Flayers!

Now this adventure is the most I've been excited for in a long time, sounds awesome and waiting for the Pre-order with Amazon to kick in next month. :)

I had a discussion with my gaming friends when I got back from Gen Con and asked how it was. I said... kind of a mess. Don't get me wrong, I had fun but I'm only there for RPG gaming. Like a couple others have mentioned, I'm not into the Anime, electronic, card-games or game boards. Chicago...

I'm going to use Mutant Year Zero once I read through the book (just got it) for a Mad Max like world.

Recalling what I've seen at Gen Con and your post... this is making me re-think on going to Gen Con anymore. I'm a RPG player, not into boardgames or CCGs, I'll need to find an actual (mostly) RPG con to go to.

The checkout lines for many other booths also had me steer away. Sunday was the best day to go shopping but most of the products I wanted were sold out.

Attendance of 61,423 :) But I agree, we are still the RPG gamers, we are the reason D&D could even try to go into movies and video games.
