The Tomb of Annihilation is excellent. You could easily plug in the lost city of Omu and the actual Tomb without much hassle on an unexplored part of the island. A rising evil that must be defeated.

I'm just finding it a fun toy that can help quickly with generic ideas when I don't have time to come up with them myself. It certainly has helped me get over the horror of a blank page. Or I can amuse myself by writing stupid prompts:

Yes, I was thinking The Chamber as well, or possibly a Rakshasa posing as The Chamber. In between adventures the group finds clues to the identity of their benefactor, but it goes much deeper than they think. I like the idea of one secretive faction using another secretive faction as a cover.

I didn't enjoy the Tomb of Horrors (not a fan of insta-death and trying to trick the players), but I did enjoy Return to the Tomb of Horrors (4e) and Tomb of Annihilation (5e) might just be the best D&D module I have ever run.

That would be insane to track. But also, what impact would a missing moon have on lunar magic? Is there an entire other school of magic that doesn't exist? Or, since the moons are linked to the plains does that mean that no magic connected to sleep or dreaming would work?

I'm keen to explore this on Roll20 once it is complete, but am always nervous about starting something that isn't all there in case I catch up too quickly.

Thanks everyone. I've had a look through and I'm really liking the modular nature of cortex prime. I think I'll be buyin that one. Then I just need to work out how to make it work easily on Roll20 as my gaming group is spread across the country.
