    Twofold Pact & Warlock Questions

Thanks. Given that it appears that twofold pact also gives one the pact's riders when it comes to powers, it will make things much easier for me in deciding my bonus power from my PP. And I'll check out those powers you mentioned, I didn't dump Charisma, my group rolls abilities, and I rolled well.

    Twofold Pact & Warlock Questions

When one chooses Twofold Pact, does one only get the additional boon and the associated pact at-will power, or does one also get the pact bonuses listed under the powers themselves? For example, if I'm Infernal Pact, pick up Twofold Pact, then choose Star Pact, do I get the bonuses listed...

    Are Conjurations Considered Creatures?

    Thanks. I support that decision.

    Are Conjurations Considered Creatures?

Are conjurations considered creatures, for the purposes of powers that count creatures? For example, Assasin power: Shadowstorm.

Is Giving Out A +3 Weapon Generous?

But what about wands with Encounter spells embedded in them? Do those count as Daily slots? My case in point. I really like the Artificer Encounter 7 Attack Power Gale Force Infusion, it has been very effective. So I created a wand with that spell embedded in it, as an Encounter Power. But...

Is Giving Out A +3 Weapon Generous?

Do you think it is wrong for an artificer to carry a bunch of wands just for using the possible daily powers attributed to them? Normally, I would look down at almost any character carrying a bunch of wands, but for an artificer it seems, acceptable, given that they are into magical "gadjets"...

    Eberron Marks and Party Animosity

I have a Cleric, Human, Good, with the Mark of Healing, and a Unaligned Gnome Wizard with the Aberrant Mark of Madness, in the same group (which is primarily Unaligned) in a quasi-Eberron setting. Should there be a conflict? If so, how much? I've read the section in the EPG, but it was a bit...

Is Giving Out A +3 Weapon Generous?

Is giving out a +3 Luckblade to an all-ready tough, newly turned 10th level swordmage, being generous? It will be the best sword that I have given out thus far, +1 better than I have given out previously. She definitely deserves it, I think. But I just kind of want to get an idea if that would...

Powers that Force Move, Granting BA

Understandable. I didn't think it was cheesy either. But I wanted to make sure. Oops, my mistake: Everyone kind of blends in.

Powers that Force Move, Granting BA

I believed you on the rule and teleporting, and that my hypothetical was a cheesy thing to do. I was just wondering if using Staggering Note and Blunder is cheesy thing to to do if you don't move the target, even though you don't have to move it by the RAW.

Experience Points & Going Down the 1st rd

I always thought that was the usual rule. It just seems counter-intuitive. Not really. He got hit with Drow poison, and the effect was that he remained unconscious for the duration of the encounter.

Experience Points & Going Down the 1st rd

If a character goes down in the first round of a big fight, would you give him or her the EXP's for the encounter afterward? I'm thinking, no?

Powers that Force Move, Granting BA

Yeah, I know I don't have to move it. Also, I just got into a big discussion if you actually have to move a space to gain the use of a benefit attached to teleporting power, and most people said, yes, so i thought maybe powers like the above are the same way. Ultimately though, I am more...

Powers that Force Move, Granting BA

For powers like, Staggering Note and Blunder, does one have to move the target in order for the ally to receive the BA? I'm thinking no, partially because (flavor wise) you can actually move an enemy without them leaving a square (for example, moving them 2 ft- I've staggered and blundered...

Teleporting Back to the Same Spot

I agree with you people, but, technically, given that a square is 5x5, someone could teleport a foot away and stay in the same square.

Teleporting Back to the Same Spot

I see. I just wasn't to sure if the act of teleporting made one disappear to nowhere, for a nanosecond.

Teleporting Back to the Same Spot

Can you teleport back to the same spot without actually moving any and still be considered to be teleporting? I'm thinking, yes. And, in the same above manner (that is, teleport without moving any), can you teleport an enemy in-and-out of a damaging zone, so that it takes damage for entering...

    Forced Movement

I see. Yeah, I got confused for a second in who's an enemy, and who's an ally. How you run it at your table is how we will run it too, that is, no save for being pushed into zones, but saves for pushing off cliffs and stuff- it sounds like it would be the RAW from the info I've gathered. I...

    Forced Movement

On pg. 286 in PHB under "Forced Movement", under "Clear Path," it states that the target cannot be forced into an obstacle or made to squeeze into a space. Or that it couldn't normally enter by walking." Does this mean that you cant force move creatures into zones, wells, and such? I thought...
