Ghosts of Saltmarsh is better than the orignal in a lot of ways, you might want to try that again. Otherwise War of the Burning Sky is awesome (not played it 5E but a great campaign), alternatively try Frog God Games' or Goodman Games' stuff for an old school feel - FGG stuff is very much sandboxy

Correct, but it keeps the formatting better than pasting into word, then just combine the PDFs or print, if you want paper

PF2 being such a new game, exactly why I didn't buy the special cover edition! But it's good to see that Paizo realise they can't stick with their old errata policy with this

I'm not sure if 5e is for you, which is even simpler and just as standardized. There is certainly much less character customisation

I'll be sticking with 5e. I play with my four boys, the older 2 especially love crunchiness, and one is a total rules nerd like me. Maybe when the younger two are older, Dunno. But I will buy and read, I love reading PF1, and Paizo's stuff, and I'll do the same with 2
