    D&D 5E (2014) A single +1 armor for a level 10 party

Dex = AC for any unarmored and light armored character. Dex = Initiative for all players. Dex = +hit and +damage Dex is especially important for Rogues because it increases all of those things which are all highly important and it also increases critical skills like Stealth and Sleight of...

    D&D 5E (2014) A single +1 armor for a level 10 party

I took his post as the Fighter just took and kept the ring. If it was a party decision, it makes much more sense. We have all played with that guy who keeps the random magical item just because they found it even if it would benefit the whole party better for another player to have it. I can...

    D&D 5E (2014) A single +1 armor for a level 10 party

So that guy with the already highest AC took the Ring of Protection??? There is a word for that kind of player....

My Rogue needs an Imp for ultimate stealthing lol

D&D 5E (2014) Multiclassing my lvl 10 Eldritch Knight, need tips.

Yeah as mentioned above, it's impossible to help you without knowing what you're wanting from your character? Why would you want to multiclass at all? The two most obvious multiclass option to me would be either Barbarian for Rage goodies that you'd only use after you run out of spells, and...

    D&D 5E (2014) A single +1 armor for a level 10 party

I am a very giving DM. My players usually find a lot of magic items. I especially love magic trinkets. I just almost never hand out magic armor. You'll get a +3 weapon from me before I give you some +1 armor.

D&D 5E (2014) Paladin: Why Are They Often Considered Highly Powerful?

I agree with most of that, but no matter how hard the DM pounds, the Paladins' auras are always on all the time no matter how tired they get. So even at their worst, they're still really strong and are a real PITA for DMs.

    D&D 5E (2014) A single +1 armor for a level 10 party

Magic armor breaks the game much faster than Magic weapons IMO

    D&D 5E (2014) A single +1 armor for a level 10 party

I actually recommend NOT giving out any +1, +2, or +3 armor at all. I will never at any point give a magic shield. I can only see doing it if there is a major AC discrepancy between characters. Then you'll throw out something that only the weakest guy can use.

    D&D 5E (2014) Throwing people!

I played a 20Str Goliath Bear Totem Barb who liked to grapple, push, knock over, throw people. The DM was pretty lenient on what he allowed me to do, but I don't think he had specific rules for what I could do. I'm pretty sure he just made it up as we went along. He was really big about...

D&D 5E (2014) How can my sorcerer become a decent healer?

You're talking about Magic Initiate. Unfortunately, he'd only be able to cast the new 1st level spell once per long rest so I don't think this is a very good option.

D&D 5E (2014) How can my sorcerer become a decent healer?

You could take the reverse healing route and take the Inspiring Leader feat for a decent amount of Temporary hit points before battles. The Healer feat could also work for out of combat healing. Bard is the most obvious choice is you REALLY want to multiclass. You'd get Healing Word, and...

Newbie optimizer help requested on Dwarf Str Rogue Inquisitive

I agree. 5e really needs a proper Brutal Scoundrel or Thug archetype.

D&D 5E (2014) Class for Aarakocra in ToA? Need opinions!

You're not going to want to fly away as a Barb so it's kind of a waste. An Aarakocra Monk is one of the next characters I am going to use. VERY excited about an Aarakocra Monk. As far as I know, the unarmed attack scales with the Monk progression. I'll go either Open Hand or Long Death and use a...

    D&D 5E (2014) Rogue with Find Familiar?

After some further reading, I'm not sure I would like an Arcane Trickster. I'm not really big a the partial casters outside of the Paladin. Spells are just so limited it doesn't seem like I would get the use out of them I would want. I think I'll just stick to Assassin or Thief and get Magic...

    D&D 5E (2014) Rogue with Find Familiar?

I was going for flavor moreso than maximum optimization. I didn't know that Arcane Trickster had access to Find Familiar so I'd have to look into that. I was probably going to take Assassin as it seems to be what I would enjoy the most, but I was at least considering Thief. I will definitely...

    D&D 5E (2014) Rogue with Find Familiar?

I haven't got to play a Rogue yet in 5e so I've been thinking about rolling one up. One thing I think would be fun is take the Magic Initiate feat and get Find Familiar plus two utility cantrips that would help with things Rogues like to do. Minor Illusion would probably be my first choice, but...

D&D 5E (2014) How would YOU build a Goliath Wizard?

yes but your AC is going to be all kinds of terrible and you still don't have hardly any weapon options. I'd go 14 Str and 14 Dex instead of 16 Str and 12 Dex. I'd go Divination or Abjurer

    D&D 5E (2014) Houserule: +1 ASI for everyone.

I LOVE the idea of class ASIs as long as it doesn't equal starting with 18 in the main stat. I would love to see a broader selection or race/class combos like the Goliath Wizard mentioned recently.
