D&D 4E Will errata ever be incorporated in 4E books?

Still ongoing. In fact there is an update coming out next month for the PHB. When new books come out sometimes the new options interact with the old rules in way that were not foreseeable and they need to be updated.

    Barbarian's rage strike

Damn it. I meant like. I always do that.

    Blindness

Where are you getting -2 from? When you are blinded your targets have Total Concealment and that is a -5.

    Barbarian's rage strike

First you have to be 5th level and currently under the effects of a rage power. Then you can expend another rage power and replace that power with Rage Strike. The damage of Rage Strike is dependent on the level of the rage power you are expending for Rage Strike. So lets say you are 5th...

Race Elimination - Dwarf vs. Eladrin!

Why is that? Why the Scottish accent? I know it just sounds correct, but why?

Race Elimination - Dwarf vs. Eladrin!

I voted Eladrin for the same reason as before. I just don't find them all that interesting and Dwarves are just awesome.

    Spirit Companion Defences

The Spirit Companion will not gain the resistance. They only gain your defenses(AC, Fort, Reflex, Will). They will gain the +1 to all defences against bloodied opponents because that bonus would also apply to you.

Twin Strike or similar powers & target selection

Melee and ranged attacks that attack multiple times consist of separate attacks. So Iron Tooth would have triggered the mark for not attacking the PC that marked him.

Twin Strike or similar powers & target selection

When the rules aren't clear I always go for what is more fun for the player. Having an attack wasted because the first one killed the target is not fun. I say let them choose before each individual attack roll.

Can a Ranged Weapon be an Implement?

As far as I know the only ranged weapons that are currently available a implements are light blades and one heavy blade(Drow Long Knife). There are no classes that get hammers or axes as implements.

How do you errata your hard copies?

^this. At least I try to.

    Rules on double weapons

Don't forget that with magic double weapons both sides gain all the benefits of the enchantment. Nice 2 for one deal.

    January Rules updates 2010

All that stuff you just wrote is all player and DM knowledge. As far as the Orc and his allies are concerned the don't have "powers" they are just trying to kill stuff. Everything you mentioned is all stuff players need to know because PnPrpg combat doesn't work without rules like that. So it's...

    Kalashtar: am I missing something?

Fun fact: If you put "dazed" as a search parameter in the compendium over 700 creatures show up. "Dominated" comes up with 130.

Weapons as Implements. Working as intended?

I said what now? WotC_GregB's comments only said that there was going to be an update. There is ABSOLUTELY no indication as to what that update will be. It could clear up all the Weapons as Implements and Implements as Weapons issues so that they work like I've been saying they do or it could...

    January Rules updates 2010

A saving throw isn't an action. The Orc doesn't need to be aware of anything. There is no roleplaying that needs to be done it's all background mechanics. The only thing that the creature casting the teleport needs to know is that it fail. If you really need an explanation, maybe teleportation...

Weapons as Implements. Working as intended?

According to WotC_GregB Weapons as Implements and Implements as Weapons will be in the March update. They couldn't be included in this months update because of time constraints for the CB.

    January Rules updates 2010

http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/UpdateJan2010.pdf Only the PHB1 this time around. Important changes too. Dominated no longer relies on the Dazed condition and forced teleportation grants a save to negate it if the destination space would cause the target to fall or if that space is hindering...

    Critical on "Splash" Damage

Well, I think the splash damage would be maximized because it is a damage roll on a hit that you would normally roll if it wasn't a crit, but the attack roll was still only on a single target so only the target the roll was made against would get the extra damage IMHO.

Weapons as Implements. Working as intended?

No, whenever they mean [W] they say Weapon Damage, Weapon Damage Dice or damage die for this weapon. Examples: Vorpal Weapon, Ironskin Belt, Rogue Weapon Talent, Killer’s Eye Shadow Assassin Attack 11, Hammer Rhythm, Scimitar Dance, High Crit, ect... There is also a Dragon article "Sorcerer...
