He's a comedian. Fairly famous, in some TV shows and movies I believe. Personally I think the movies, TV shows, and advertisements suck rocks. But if I see his standup routine on Comedy Central I'll tune in. He's pretty funny in his standup act.

Web needst to be anchored to solid objects though, so essentially nothing would happen.

Actually I took it to mean the same thing. You can't change material of one type into another. They didn't say that it all had to be one material. It's a great spell to quickly make things if you have the craft or alchemy skill. Grab a bar of steel, and leather straps to make sword with grips.

As a holy liberator I'd be tempted to let you use it if I were the DM. A 2nd quest to perhaps make it yours.

Well, I haven't seen anything regarding ambushes. Poison yes, ambuses no. What exactly is cheating or lying is intentionally vague. Would surrounding the bar with 50 paladins be legal? It's unfair, is that cheating? Do we fight him one at a time until we're all dead?
