Let's talk about two-headed, dual action monsters

I need some advice on this one. I got the idea to template a creature with a second head and dual actions after running an Aspect of Demogorgon but I need some guidelines for doing so. I haven't been able to find any rules on the subject. I've got a two-headed mystery beast waiting in the wings...

    Cheating - who cares?

Most of the types of "cheating" I have seen might not be called cheating per se, but it almost always affects the outcome for the player's PCs. One pet peeve I have is that when players misread a rule, it's almost always in their favor. There's really no way to call someone out on this, but...

PHB II - the new kinds of spell

I agree on your assessment. I think we are seeing the designers move in new directions. A precursor of things to come.

    D&D Minis: Preview X

The huge black dragon was a great sculpt til they put that dork on top of it. Let's hope it's removeable like the colossal red's fire. Otherwise, it's scalpel time.

    Charles Ryan on Adventures

This is a load of hogwash. The adventure market has NOT been empty for the past couple years. It has been churning out better and better stuff. Look at Goodman games. Look at Necromancer. Hello, wotc?? Pull your heads out. This is wizards way of saying the market isn't ready for 4e and they...

    Dragon Compendium Table of Contents

Despite the fact that I will be buying this volume, and I urge other Greyhawk fans to do so in hopes we'll see our own volume on Oerth, GV's got a point, and a rather good one at that. Hostage taking indeed. I would have liked to see the witch write-up, as well, especially since its most recent...

    Dragon Compendium Table of Contents

This doesn't look too bad. I will be buying a copy. Oh, and for those disappointed with the lack of fluff maybe Erik knew that a book like this would sell enough copies so that his other volumes would get off the ground. Lest we forget, 3.5 is a crunch driven genre.
