    Strongarm Bracers?

IMO the bracers merely provide the arm strength needed to wield weapons as if you were a being one size larger ... they do NOT lengthen your arms so your reach remains per normal unless the larger weapon has a longer reach than your normally capable of.

The most important question of all

legacy will remain as-is for the 4e forums will wither on the fruitless vine they are as all who accepted 4e as a RPG will likewise embrace 5e enmass leaving none to linger in the once active 4e forums.

What system of magic do you use?

high magic with just about (ok all?) variants/spells allowed with relatively high-level casters generally clustered to scattered megacities like waterdeep, sharn, glantri which accordingly are the only real markets for mass-market enchantments/items, consequently PCs tend to self-craft when...

    D&D 3.x 3.5 Warlock Concept Build

hmm depends on how long/high you see the campaign lasting. pixie with warlock 1 for the unlimited EBs then concentrate on rogue for the sneak attack using it should be fun/easy exchange. Your racial abilities should more than offset the problems of being 5-levels behind the others for your...

Item creation, XP costs, and level loss

Since you cant voluntarily loss enough XP to decrease a level from casting the spells normally, it seems reasonable you likewise could not lose a level while investing them into an object to enchant it.

    Selling loot?

I believe the 50% resale value presumes/implies the goods are in used condition so it seems reasonable that using Mend/etc to restore the item to original/like-new condition would restore its base market value to 100% (before other feat/etc adjustments). Obviously not always an option, but...

    "Good" Necromancy

all depends in WHAT spells he uses. Necromancy primarily focuses on the physical body so there's no reason he couldn't be good/neutral, however I would be tempted to house-rule each use of negative energy effects/[Evil] effects carry a cumulative% of drifting the caster's alignment towards...

    Eldritch Blast and Spell Resistance

    1. yes, eldritch blast would remain subject to SR unless further modified because Hideous Blow states "the target is affected as if struck by your eldritch blast (including any eldritch essence applied to the blast)." where "An eldritch blast is subject to spell resistance" so essentially you're...

Sorcerer + Wizard uses of Permanency Spell

True and why its a poor choice for a sorcerer unless he's prepared to burn xp restoring his expected permanent effects "daily".

Sorcerer + Wizard uses of Permanency Spell

And therein lies the problem with Permanency - personal effects remain subject to being dispelled by someone of higher level than you were when you rendered the effect permanent, while those effects you rendered "permanent" upon another must casscadedly(word?) save from highest to lowest spell...

Druids and Wand of Enlarge Person

Agreed, since the druid doesn't normally know Enlarge Person, he needs UMD unless he can somehow learn the spell. My point is he has a number of options to effectively cast the spell upon himself and his companion per RAW, making the original question quite valid.

Druids and Wand of Enlarge Person

Except RAW states "Using a scroll is basically like casting a spell." thus its acceptable for the druid to use a scroll of Enlarge Person/whatever. Likewise "All wands are simply storage devices for spells and thus have no special descriptions. Refer to the spell descriptions for all pertinent...

D&D 3.x [3.5] Summon Treasure IV and III

interesting, but would the summoned creature arrive with whatever it might reasonably have been carrying at the time it was yanked to your location so at most you'd gain some armor or a weapon or two - which chances are wouldn't amount to much relative to the corresponding spell level.

Druids and Wand of Enlarge Person

correct. I recalled that after posting and should have edited the part about the mage when noting my house-rule. sorry. However the druid COULD do it if he can get the wand/etc to work.

    Star Wars RPG ideas

of course one thing to remember is even in the movies, the Luke's party didnt act alone ... there were ALWAYS an unknown legion of other rebels at all levels working alongside them even/esp during the epic death star battle. Perhaps its your unsung PCs who recovered the plans and/or relayed...

Druids and Wand of Enlarge Person

If/when the DRUID is the target of a magical effect he has the option of sharing the effect with their animal companion, irregardless of the source for the simple reason he's sharing the magical effect that is affecting HIM with his animal companion via their magical link. For example, Cure...

    Modern/Fantasy Plot help

off the cuff ... 1. perchance the person who introduced the PCs is actually the unknown individual who set them up the first place, knowing first-hand experience is the only real way to convince them of the alt/n world's reality. He's arbitraging otherwise low-value goods in each as exotic...
