3.0 Paladin Dragon Mount spell sharing

True. None of the original example Animal Companions, Familiar, or Special Mounts normally have any ability to use/cast magical effects, nor gained any such ability by virtue of becoming an Animal Companion, Familiar, or Special Mount so it wasnt neccessary for RAW to say they couldnt. What it...

    Wishing for Immortality (Unaging actually)?

Correction: It was Dragon #237. Teratism1 is a 3rd level spell allowing for interesting minor skin/color/sound effects, and Teratism2 (5th level) for adding/altering limbs, imbuing upto 2nd level spells, etc however I would think to render the subject Unaging would require Teratism3 since...

    Freeform Magical Systems

Monte Cook's D20 World of Darkness adaption has a free-form spell construction system as well, which likewise allows interesting possibilities in exchange for a little math/prep work.

    Wishing for Immortality (Unaging actually)?

I'd allow it. It seems reasonable for a Wish spell to bestow a single feat regardless of whether you have the necessary prereq(s). In this instance, you'd gain the psychic Immortality feat - locking you physically at the mid-point of your species's Adult age-bracket, incurring no further...

    Need Mecha

The d20 Mecha Compendium Deluxe offers vehicle construction rules for d20 with an eye towards mechas which should be easy enough to use as-is/convert to your system. Includes many Heavy Gear mech examples. The other thing to consider is any culture capable of developing battlemechs would...

    Minifacs

Your minifac sounds reasonable extension to existing technology. We already have the technology to create/recycle plastic into countless items including soft cotton-like fabric and since everything you mention are common inorganic items so perhaps the basic Cubit is a simple solid plastic block...

Divine shield + ring of force shield

sorry, I agree with parinho7 -- its a small forcefield shaped/sized like a shield and used as such which happens to be generated from a ring (hence its classification). Therefore it should qualify for use with any shield-related feat/spell/etc.

oops! *quickly shovels dirt atop the thread*

Put a Symbol on a shield?

Symbol of Death states "This spell allows you to scribe a potent rune of power upon a surface." so yes, while a shield/etc could legally be considered a surface for compliance with RAW ... I would recommend a gentlemen's agreement with the DM -AGAINST- this particular usage lest your group soon...

    Magic Item Woes

Your suggested design seems reasonable, however Rope Trick normally creates a space capable of holding upto eight creatures weighing a max of 16,000 pounds each - so why reduce it to a mere two cubic feet? The problem I see however is Rope Trick's descriptive fluff implies the resulting space...

3.0 Paladin Dragon Mount spell sharing

IMO its the same empathic relationship as a Mage:Familiar or Druid:Animal Companion share with their respective counterparts so would allow the Paladin:Mount to share spells in either/both directions as desired, provided they are within empathic range during the casting. Likewise with potions...

Cromweld died, but wouldn't lie down.

Seems a big factor in the solution would be WHY the cleric has issues with the undead given his deity doesn't particularly care one way or the other. IOW while he might look questioningly upon his one-time friend and ally's new condition as a corrupt mockery of live whose recipients are no...

    Good Spells for Dragons?

Another thing to consider is the dragon's age. An older experienced dragon likely learned any foes able to bypass/defeat its many protective minions/hazards to become a threat would quickly dispel any prepared buffs. That being the case, it would have likely converted a portion of its hoard's...

    share spells with Animal Companion-question

IMO it means that while the potion's strength and duration are predetermined by whomever prepared the potion, the drinker controls when its trigged by either drinking or applying it in some suitable fashion (drink the liquid, rub on the oil/gel, etc). Casting from memory, drinking a brew...

    D&D 3.x Wyndlass Monster Converted to 3E?

Found a conversion on the Dragonlance Nexus. Interesting critter - a Huge would cause problems, but could definitely see reasons a druid/town might try domesticating small/medium ones in a campaign. http://www.dlnexus.com/fan/rules/12786.aspx

Nintendo DS: Pokemon Heart of Silver/Gold

Silly question, but some 50hrs into the game, daughter is upto the part where the Team Rocket grunt in the basement provides a uniform so you can sneak into the radio tower ... only she mistakenly lost the disguise by speaking with the photo booth nearby. The grunt disappeared having fulfilled...

Enlightened Grognard: One attack roll for area of effect

Consider that in most cases the area of effect (aoe) is caused a single event so only needs rolled once for targeting and once for the base damage inflicted on ALL targets within in aoe; adjusted for distance from ground-zero and target-specific damage resistance, cover, etc. You could also...
