(IC) Dog Days of Doom!

The zombie is tough but it's slow and gets battered with attack after attack and, with a final psychic blast, it falls to the ground unmoving. All is quiet. Where to next. The only place you have yet to explore is down the newly opened passage.

    Morality of mind control…

Nothing takes away a person’s free will like murdering them. If the stakes are so high that you are going to be murdered or are considering murdering someone, then I don’t see mind control as any worse. Obviously, framing the ‘stakes’ will inform me if someone is doing evil acts. Are you...

US Tariffs: $80-$200 Surcharge On All Packages Regardless of Price

I heard the other day that if companies could become CUSMA compliant, they can avoid the fees. Doing so is difficult and takes time. Also, if any parts of your product are not CUSMA(if they come from other non CUSMA countries), then you can’t apply.

In a fantasy world filled with magic and miraculous beings, will the religious concepts of the locals be completely different from the human of Earth?

I quoted the post where you called people’s real life religious beliefs just “imagination” and compare them to Lady Gaga. But go ahead, I will happily leave.

I was commenting on the fact that he has a code and kills bad guys. Which is very paladin-like. I’ve seen many paladins in games have less excuses than a code to slaughter enemies

I’m pretty sure that criticizing and being condescending about people’s religious beliefs is going to get this thread shut down

Human. But Because I was asked to pick 3, I picked dwarf (not sure why. Maybe because of blind sense) and halfling because they are just small humans.

In a fantasy world filled with magic and miraculous beings, will the religious concepts of the locals be completely different from the human of Earth?

The biggest issue with D&D religion is: 1. Many players are not close to any type of religion or faith; 2. Almost no one knows how polytheistic religions worked and how intertwined into everyone’s daily life was connected to religion and faith. Playing a game and players having their...

    (IC) Dog Days of Doom!

The firelight washes over everyone and bolsters the groups morale as the zombie warrior begins to burn. The monster attacks. And misses. Again. It seems it can’t get a good hold on its claymore as it tries to decapitate Deidre.
(5.24 PBP) Vault of the Dracolich (IC) Redux

Merrick stared at the tree fascinated. He was a bit sad at its outlook. Maybe they could come back and help it once the cult was destroyed. He looked to the others to hear their opinion but his jaw dropped when he saw Shamal, “Holy gods, Shamal, what’s on...

D&D General In 2025 FR D&D should PCs any longer be wary of the 'evil' humanoids?

now I kind of like this idea that all humans are evil by nature but good aligned gods helped them set up civilizations and codes of behaviour through time. Maybe gods battled it out over who would influence them more and the ‘good’ gods won. Bandits and other baddies are just acting in their...

(OOC) The Dog Days of Doom

I think the only way to have gotten to the sarcophagus without the zombie jumping out is if you’d snuck up to it without it hearing you. As an fyi. It is supposed to jump out as soon as someone crosses halfway across the room.
