That is an excellent point and highlights one of the best features of the Goodman Games OAR products, the enhancement and fleshing out of more details (setting, NPC, plot, extra encounters, etc.) of the original material.

That does bring up a good point. The OARs are fantastic tomes as overgeeked stated, but they hit those high page counts by including multiple versions of the original module. Great content from a historical and collector standpoint, not completely necessary for an adventure compilation like...

Yeah, I hadn't realized OAR #1-6 had gone out of print. Shoot, GG just shipped out #7 The Dark Tower. Seeing these two titles included in Infinite Staircase probably explains at least somewhat why that particular licensing agreement came to end when it did and GG pivoted to non-WotC adventures...

Interesting. Both Expedition to the Barrier Peaks and The Lost City were covered by Goodman Games in the OAR series a few years ago. If I recall, the OAR series were adventures that Wizards had no intention of doing anything with (at least at that time). Now I'll be curious to do a side-by-side...

I shared your uncertainty about Xenk though considering Hugh Grant's Forge was already filling the "wolf-in-sheep's clothing" role, I didn't think they were going to drink from that same well twice in the same film. But yeah, Xenk's intensity definitely made me think "I wonder...." a few times.
