As a big fan of Dark sun ever since the 2e days, I would buy a copy of The Wanderer's Guide to Athas so fast. I mean I'd honestly buy anything Dark Sun they put out, but having "The Wanderer" on it would make me feel like they did their homework.

That's hardly a fair thing to say, you really can't know if they dried up due to the playtest, They gave up on us. During the 2 year playtest, 2 books were published for 4e... Both of them during the 1st 6 months of the playtest.

Oh if it's a spellcaster you need to have 5 books open.

I do love the visual aid, I might be able to stand you game with it, but I've honestly gotten to the point if a game is going to be "theater of the mind" I'm just going to walk out. I need to know what I can do, not guess and have to ask the DM if I can hit more than one.

I can accept that, but is it acceptable to you if all that's kept is the fluff? Say a new arcane striker, with that same fluff? I'm not one that gets hung up on number of classes though so maybe others would have a problem with too many arcane strikers.
