What Monte's d20 Best of Should Have...

I presume you mean why do I say that I doubt Monte will acknowledge M&M and Spycraft. If so, because they aren't as big sellers as D&D. It's pure economics at the end of the day. Anyone who thinks that Monte is doing this purely for the best of intentions is slightly deluded. Of course, he HAS...

RPGA - Sanction your regular campaign!

As far as the RPGA website is concerned (from what I could read) any game you run using D&D is considered santioned for RPGA reporting. You don't have to mention the alignments of the party, nor whether the game is online or tabletop. Of course, I can already see the potential for abuse...

    Military based D20 game

I disagree... Spycraft, which is a d20 System game, can do realism extremely well. Indeed, the main rule book explains just how to do that in a couple of easy steps. And the Militaries series for Spycraft (U.S. Militaries, World Militaries, and Battlegrounds) had a large number of military...

What Monte's d20 Best of Should Have...

Monte's Best of MUST include non-fantasy material. Mutants & Masterminds and Spycraft both prove that D&D isn't the be-all and end-all of d20, but I doubt Monte will acknowledge that :(

    Wahammer RPG

As a long-time WFRP player and GM (as long as the game has been in print in fact) I would say that if you're looking for a dark, gothic, fantasy game, then WFRP is your best bet. The rules are not without their faults (find me a game that is without fault!) but they work none-the-less. Unlike...

    the FLGS list

I try to offer a listing of UK stores over at UK Roleplayers. Of course, it requires input from my members so if any of you here are in the UK and know of an FLGS, please post it there as well (you don't have to register for an account, though that would be nice ;)) For myself, my closest is in...

Which Firefox extensions are you using?

The only one I use is Diggler (which allows you to easily get to the root of a website without having to delete the bits that follow it). I;ve also installed a few different search links (IMDb, Amazon.co.uk, and The Underdogs).

    Those Electric Blues...

Works fine for me (Firefox 1.0/WinXP). Having said that, it's too dark for my tastes (much prefer PHBII at the moment - although looking forward to Stealth's re-release :))

    Military based D20 game

You could also take a look at the Spycraft militaries series, U.S. Militaries, World Militaries, and Battlegrounds (the latter isn't yet released).

    Spycraft v2? Suggestions.

I don't know about the rest of your suggestions (like I said in the other thread, I'm not on the design team), but... I'm presuming that you're referring to the weapons listing provided in the core rulebook. If so, exact weapon types can be found in the Modern Arms Guide if you're looking for...

Why _DON'T_ You Buy Dragon Magazine?

Although I'm not part of the Spycraft RPG Design Team, I can say with certainty that this isn't happening. The Spycraft CCG is out and Spycraft v2 (the RPG) is being released next year. So, it (and by default, Living Spycraft) will be around for a long time yet.

Why _DON'T_ You Buy Dragon Magazine?

I've never subscribed to Dragon (nor Dungeon for that matter) and haven't bought a copy of either since, well, I can't remember. I used to love it (bought the archive CD and still have the majority of issues up to around 300), but it's very bland and boring now. Just the same old things in each...

Seeking a good D&D weather generator

http://www.mythosa.net/Utils.html#Other The link is labelled Campaign Calendar Source (I don't want to give the direct download link as that could be considered leeching). And, yes, it's free.

Seeking a good D&D weather generator

There's the Campaign Calendar from Mythosa (the same guy who created TableSmith - which is also excellent). You can get it from www.mythosa.net IIRC. Look in the utilies page down towards the bottom. You can use it "as is" or create your own calendar (months, days, moon cycle) and go with that...

    Modern day maps needed

My first port of call for this sort of thing is Control's Central Information Clearinghouse. Lots of good resources for all things modern. As for Modern Day Maps, they're reasonable (I think I reviewed them and gave them a 3) but not an essential purchase.

    Your first character

I know what you mean, I can't remember mine either (although I started DMing in 1984 and playing in 1985!)

If you could choose ONE non-d20 game to play, which one would it be?

Warhammer Fantasy Role Play, without a doubt.
