    Old Master Bug List.

    I need to left-right scroll at 1024x768 screen resolution in FF3 :(

Didn't Receive My Sleep, Ye Cursed Child Subscriber Link

Only if you like the PDF previews. I much prefer being able to download a preview PDF if I want one and have everything in one ZIP file for products like WBS. That's just me though. I can live with it until the subscription finishes.

    News Site Public Beta Test

The navigation bar (News|Reviews| Forums|Blogs|Chat|Articles|Event Calendar|Freelance Work|Advertise|Phoenix Project) breaks out to the right (causing a left/right scroll bar to appear) on my machine (tested with IE6, IE8 Beta, FF3 Beta 4, Opera 9, and Safari 3 (for Windows)) which has a...

Didn't Receive My Sleep, Ye Cursed Child Subscriber Link

That's not on. It's your product you should be able to distribute it as you see fit. Having to find the product in my history and then download multiple files was a right pain. Notwithstanding the fact that I didn't get the email notification either! DTRPG/RPGNow are just getting worse :(

    Ie7

Have you tried using IE7Pro? It's a third-party add-on for IE7. I'm a rabid user of Firefox myself, but have to use IE7 for work and couldn't be without IE7Pro. I'm not entirely sure it'll fix your problem, but I'll hang it out there for you :)

The Best & Worst of 3rd Edition: Nominate the best of the rest (closed)

A couple of my suggestions might already be on the list but just in case... A Magical Society: Ecology and Culture (XRP) A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe (XRP) Skull & Bones (Green Ronin/Adamant Entertainment) Thieves Quarter (Game Mechanics) Temple Quarter (Game Mechanics)

True20 -- Who has tried and it not stuck with it?

Had the book and the PDF, read through it once but didn't like it (there were still levels there for a start) so sold it.

Racial characteristics most likely to be played at your tables?

Horses for courses, I love it (but, then, I'm a Scot living in England so can really ham up my accent :D) Currently playing a halfing who is, more or less, stereotyped to the original, pre-3e, halfling mould. Even down to dumping skill points in Profession (Cook) - but then, as I'm playing a...

What Core Races have you played?

Half-orc and gnome are the only races I've never played (in any edition). Nor do I want to :P

    Your favorite d20 System variant?

Spycraft v1 - without a doubt the best modern version of d20 there is (but I'm biased ;))

    Making Your Characters Unique

I always try to add something different to each character (like my human ranger who's backstory was that his wife was killed by the Scarlet Brotherhood (he's an Onnwal based Living Greyhawk character) and his son kidnapped by them). It gave me a decent, in character reason, for having humans as...

What Gaming Stuff Are You Getting/Giving For Christmas?

My current group don't go in for Secret Santa and none of my family are gamers. My wife has a nice list of stuff I'd like (mainly D&D 3.5 books to complete my collection) though :)

    PC/NPC Database?

It sounds like you'd be best off creating your own using Excel or, if you're proficient in PHP/MySQL, using that. I did exactly that and created something for WFRP using PHP/MySQL as an exercise in learning how to code. I recommend XAMPP as a nice and easy package for adding webserver...

Scenario - 2009: WOTC drops D&D product line - Death or Resurrection for RPG hobby?

Nothing will change. D&D isn't the be all and end all of role playing. Sure it's the 800lb gorilla, but other games exist. FLGS' will take a massive hit, but PDF sales will rise (perhaps not to the level of current print sales though). As for a decline, role playing has been declining for the...

Notes from a Savage Worlds fantasy campaign (updated with 05/28/08 session notes!)...

I don't care where this is, as someone who's prepping a pirates campaign using Savage Worlds (Pirates of the Spanish Main in particular), this thread is gold :) For the most part I'll be converting the scenarios found in Bokors & Buccaneers so the information on conversion was most welcome...

    RPG character generation software

I've used PCGen, Heroforge, and now (thanks to getting a free licence yesterday :D) Hero Lab. While I like both PCGen and Heroforge my inability to add in my own content is a major pain. However, after a quick read-through of the tutorials earlier this evening, I had the Beguiler from PHB2...

Unfortunately, they've been saying that for months (if not years) :(

The Great d20 sell off begins with GRR

I've long since given up on ever seeing another Quarter book (in PDF or print - I've got both for each of the previous releases (the PDF persuaded me to buy the print version each time)) :(
