It's not just that. With the Brickyard 400 the first weekend in August there are no hotels availalbe either. They have to schedule around that as well as when other cons go.

While I unfortunately didn't have time to see many Enworlders or play with them, I had a fantastic time at GenCon. Had some good games, and a couple great games. Hope that next year I'll get to play in an Enworlders game. Till next year, folks....

There is Deep Slumber to replace Sleep at higher levels. Wizards are fine. Specialists got hammered, but regular wizards are just fine.
