    Mind Flayers and Diet

To paraphrase from a book, nowadays, people can get by on water, so why drink beer?

    Item that detects evil

Well, for the first one, it's called "being a paladin." http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/creatingMagicItems.htm#tableEstimatingMagicItemGoldPieceValues will give you the formula you need, just plug in the numbers and do the calculations.

    Are Undead Immune to Cold?

Was this for a specific undead, or listed as a trait? Because it's entirely possible that some certain undead may have extra immunities, not shared by all the others. Dragons have individual immunities, fey do, etc...

Skirmisher boots - what do they boost?

flat +2 bonus. However, that bonus is doubled/tripled/quadrupled in cases of things like critical attacks, and similar. It is not, however, +2 per die.

How many doses of poison can be smeared on a weapon?

Probably not to the first, definitely to the second.

How many doses of poison can be smeared on a weapon?

Maybe you can apply a dagger's worth of poison to a longsword 6 times. Each "dose" being 1/6th the length of the blade. And then when you drag the blade against someone, they get 6x the poison.

How Many Devas can you Fit through the Gate?

Also, using my calculations, it's not a single huge mass evenly distributed. The max density is in the first wave/round 1 group. Since they're the most you can fit through, the following waves will be around them, with more volume to use, but the same number of people. Likewise, when they get...

How Many Devas can you Fit through the Gate?

I'll admit to not having the clearest understanding of initiative and such, but... It seems to me that a bottle neck isn't going to be a problem, because as long as one deva can get through, they all can. Nobody goes at the same time, even if their initiative happens at the same time. So...

How Many Devas can you Fit through the Gate?

Except that the question isn't "how many Devas can he call?" It's "How many can fit through?" We're assuming that they're going through under their own will, he's just opening the door for them. Thus, it's using the Planar Travel function, which has no HD cap.

How Many Devas can you Fit through the Gate?

Seems to me, you can fit a few more than as many devas would fill a (let's give us a margin of error of 5 ft either way) 19 square radius hemisphere. Those are all of the ones that have enough movement to be waiting when it goes off, and make it through in one move action. Rounds and...

The average weight of a gem/jewelery/art.

A single 1 carat gem weights 1/2000th of a pound. Effectively negligible. A round gem, 20mm diameter, give or take, weights about 1/50th of a pound. That being the standard fantasy size for gems.

What's the formula to calculate wealth?

Rats. I was just going to come in and suggest that. It just seems the simplest way to do it. I'd bet someone with SPSS or a similar statistical program could do something even more effective.

    (hypothetical only) Dodging a bullet

Bingo. With RAW, all you need is a very high dex bonus to AC. The actually speed of the bullet is irrelevant. I mean, at epic levels, you can have supersonic arrows*, and still have people dodging those, because the distance of the projectile has no bearing on how much chance you have to...

    Intimidate, then Diplomacy for interrogation?

I wouldn't allow the same person to do it, but I might let someone Imtimidate an NPC into acting friendly, then have another player Diplomance him to be helpful using the Friendly DC, as a good cop/bad cop gambit. That'd probably be house ruled stuff though.

    Is it possible.

Just make them do the pricing the same way you'd price a ring of true strike. Not as a ring that has a use activated 1st level spell, but as one that gives a +20 bonus to hit. Thus, a wondrous item of cure light wounds doesn't do a first level spell, but instead, makes it even more stupidly...

Paladin with Monk levels: Feasible Character?

While you can't flurry with a greatsword, you can flurry with a Large longsword, which is effectively the same thing. You just need to take monkey grip, or OTWF, or probably any of a bunch of other possibilities that let you swing around bigger weapons.

    Take 20!?

According to the epic rules, yes. Balancing on a hair thin wire is a DC of 60, and say, if it's greased, there's another 5 to the DC.

    Epic Spell Help

Well, let's see. You'd need the following seeds. Transform: to change the type Fortify: to give the ability boosts More Fortify: to give the Damage Reduction Even More Fortify: To give spell resistance And That's When I Shot Him, Your Honor: To give the Natural Armor Not Done Fortifying: To...

    Destrying a Lich's Phylactary

No, he probably did it to make it even more tempting to whoever picked it up to not want to have it destroyed.

    Destrying a Lich's Phylactary

Just get an adamantine chisel and hammer away at it. Edit: Wait, adamantine ignores hardness less than 20. Won't be enough then.
