    Why does Mars always rebel?

Because President Clark sucks out loud.

    Artifact Questions

It's an artifact. There's a reason it's not listed with a price. There's no real market to compare it against.

    Paladin Question

And now it's tied again. Killing a defenseless foe, who surrendered is willfully committing an evil act. It might be justifiable if the enemy was an evil outsider, who is more or less MADE of evil, but hobgoblins have that capacity for change. Unless he goes around killing every evil human he...

What's the duration on the rod of wonder?

I'd say so, yeah. Everything else with a duration has one listed.

    Mithral Celestial Armor?

Actually, it says it's "bright silver or gold", which leads me to think they're talking more about the color, rather than the metal itself.

    Test My Riddle!

That was my first guess as well.

    "Metadesign Principles of D&D"

Only when placement is left to the player. A +2 and a -2 set by the DM balance out.

    Amnesia-style game?

This would be the big thing I'd be concerned about. It'd be a bit much to assume that they're going to follow their history a second time. After all, amnesia does weird things to people. And they'll be having different experiences this time around. It's possible that the theif may find, that...

    Do you buy/carry trinkets in-game?

They make their way into Rob Liefeld books?

The bigger they are, the harder they are to kill

Or better yet, give them a con bonus based on size!

The Fine Art of Quitting a Bad Game

Agreed. Also, it would make me think that the real reason I'm not wanted isn't actually a very good one, and being asked not to inquire is because they don't want to have to own up to it.

    Do you buy/carry trinkets in-game?

I was thinking more like the trivial equipment available at the beginning. The bell, or the chunk of canvas, or the mirror, or the iron pot, or the whetstone. The stuff like that that doesn't directly lead to killing things and taking their stuff.

    Do you buy/carry trinkets in-game?

I'm wondering if other people bother spending the coin/weight to give their characters other stuff. Everyone's got the rope, or the grappling hook, or the torch. But does anyone buy the bell? Or the mirror? Or stuff like that?

    Equipment arrays, the easy equiper

That whole thing weighs 45 pounds. That's a bit much of a load to carry around for a B&E job, I think.

    "Metadesign Principles of D&D"

Weapons must be balanced (by a formula I can't think of). Size, critical threat range, damage, special abilities, and weapon proficiencies must, ideally, balance. A longsword has certain figures. To step up the critical threat range, you must weaken it somehow to stay balanced. Lowering the...

    Two Weapon Rend: weak?

    That's a good point I hadn't thought about.

    An assassin's motives.

Well, when it starts with "Above all," it sorta tells people that's the part to focus on.

    An assassin's motives.

To quote Chun from Remo Williams, "Assassination is the highest form of civil service."
