    I think you're baffled, because that has never been my argument. I've already repeatedly shown that D&D does provide information, even if it's sometimes minimal information. You don't want to accept that, but that doesn't mean that I don't see it and use it.

    I agree with most of what you said there, except for this. James Doohan WAS Scotty. Saying he does Scotty better than Scotty, is like saying some actor in the future could be better at being you than you. :P That said, I do very much agree that this Scotty is very good.
