    Reach weapons and AoO

what if someone is trying to disengage from combat with a person using a reach weapon? Does that allow for 2 AoO's (provided the opponent can do multiples) as they "back straight out" of the threatened area(s)

Doug? Did you get my e-mail? It looks like I'm going to be running Bluffside sooner than I thought! :)

    Do you use Hero Points/Bennies/Re-Rolls?

But what about a D&D City game? ;)

    Do you use Hero Points/Bennies/Re-Rolls?

I have heard about the idea before, but while playing in GMVictory's game at the EN World K.C. Gameday, I fell in love with them questions: How do you use them, what is your experience? I want to use them, but I want a small little physical (real world) token they have to trade in. Any...

(Adjust your clocks!) Spring Ahead, Fall Behind and Time-Keeping in your World!

This is a good question! I'm getting ready to begin running a city campaign, and I'm hoping to help do this through the changing of the guards. At least in the character's home neighborhood, they will know its Second watch when they see good old Officer Barbrady telling the crowd "nothing to...

Tips and experience running a city campaign

Thanks everyone, there's some great stuff here! One reason I've wanted to play in a city campaign forever, and am now running one, is that I believe if characters are more closely tied to a place they're more likely to care about what happens there. Bluffside has plenty off opportunities for...

Tips and experience running a city campaign

I was wanting to appeal to the collective experience of the players and GM's who have run/played in a city campaign. I'm going to be starting one, and I've got some good ideas, but I figure knowing what makes a city campaign successful could only help me make the game better. I'm going to be...

1st level Starting Adventures - Which is the Best?

Hey, the Whispering Woodwind is great! I love the exposure it gives players to the World of Revloc, and the types of challenges within it are easily adjustable for almost any type of party. Mad props to CMG games on this one. I absolutely loved the trundlefolk, and was disappointed when my...

Can I requisition some brown pants before we go into the field again! ;) That sounds like a great idea!

Well, I don't have time to post a full run-down now, but I had a great time... imagine my suprise to walk in and find an EN Worlder that I went to High School with! It's been years since GMVictory and I have seen each other, and now we've traded e-mail addy's and phone numbers! :D I'd like to...

    So I finally bought Bluffside!

...and let me tell you it simply ROCKS! I bought it yesterday at the KC Gameday and had die-kluge sign it for me, and once I got home I began reading (fell asleep with it too!;)) I did have one question (why I posted it here) It says there's a pull-out map in the back of the book... but my...

    [March Madness] Where's your team?

Gooooo KU!!!!! I now know what they mean by March Madness... it is awesome to watch a game and be able to hear the town cheering along with you from the bars across the street Total madness after the game, one couple I saw was so happy I think they were having sex in the alley afterwards...

None, taken, I simply am turned around... it's hard, sitting here in Topeka, thinking about driving in from Lawrence, to keep the lefts and rights straight! :D It still resulted in getting accurate directions being posted, which (even if I failed) was my ultimate goal! :)

Isn't the easiest way to get there from I-35 to exit on 75th Street, turn left & cross over the interstate, then hang a right on Quivira? It's a few blocks up in a shopping center on the right, in the back corner of the shopping center?

I need 8 pregen 1st level characters for a Gameday!

Thanks! I was able to copy and paste from WotC's site and that worked well. Leo, I appreciate the help, but I can't use Generators on this computer... something errors out every time I load them...

I need 8 pregen 1st level characters for a Gameday!

I've been prepping to run the adventure, but I totally spaced off getting the characters together. Any one know of any sites with balanced pregen characters I could snag for the game? I can't use any of the generator sites, so I need something legal I can open and print off! Thanks!

I was going to run mine in slot C so those who didn't want to join the Con discussion would have something to do. (and so I can play something in slot A! ;))
