Has anyone tried to do a d20 version of Dune? Maybe as a fan project, and can point me to a web site or two? I'm thinking of running a d20Future game in the Dune universe, and was wondering... :)

Does anyone know where I can find some good Starship minis? Maybe even... Star Trek or Star Wars ships? And before anyone mentions Mongooses Bab5 range: too expensive. I'm looking for stuff to use with GZG's Full Thrust game.

Aaaah, but the thing is, most of us gm-only types get to play so rarely that we want to do something exotic, just to compensate. It's like "Okay, this is the only session I'm gonna play all year, so I'll play something really freaky." I know I'm that way...

For some reason, I can't see the musketeers being seen as paladins. Swashbucklers, yes. Cool fighters, yes. Portos as barbarian, yes. Paladins? Never.

On the Piratcat-scale, I'm at 8:2 for gamemastering. I just wish I could finally get round to playing a game of D&D instead of just running it all the time... ;)

If monks or paladins take prestige classes, do they become ex-paladins / monks? Apart, of cause from monks out of an Oriental Adventures campaign...

More or less the same as you. For my momentary campaign, some things just came together: I read Neal Stephenson's "The Diamond Age" and China Mieville's "Iron Council", I'd just gone over FFG's "Sorcery & Steam", and my two of players had just finished playing "Arcanum". BAM Instant D&D game :)

No, not really. I think we're looking at the second golden age right now. However, whereas in the age of Rogar of Mooria I'd find at least something that interested me, at the moment it's hit or miss. BTW, what is Roger up to these days?
